Wait a minute... To be a hardcore gamer, I now have to wear "gaming glasses"?
I lol'd at the glasses. The guy in the picture is like "wtf am I doing?" Razer > Steel Series
How exactly do you optimize glasses for gaming? I don't get it. I mean, unless the surface of the glasses is really a very small translucent computer screen.

I'm thinking it works about as good as the clothing that has ribs in it to help you loose weight... and by that I mean it won't do #$%^ for ya.
I read the FAQs but I couldn't find out what the deal is with the glasses if you already have a prescription like short/long sighted?Let's use my situation as an example. I'm short sighted (need glasses/contacts to see long distance) with a prescription of - 3.5.Is the idea that you get these *special* lenses to be corrected to your prescription so that these glasses can technically replace your current pair that you wear? Or do they just assume you wear contact lenses underneath these glasses?
Ooh, yes, these glasses are very usefull... to make nerds spend money.
The model for the gaming glasses is clearly hardcore, evident by his serious hairstyle, steely gaze and, well, his gaming glasses. Don't $%^& with that guy!
