As a hunter i Just have 1 thing to say to the people that call us OP check the world of logs before making tickets to blizzard crying about that hunter are OP and they sould nerf them
I'm re-rolling a shammy .. mainly as resto(heal) .. so far 40+ .. I don't have mana issue or heal issue. I have 2x85 disc/holy priest and prot/holy pally .. it's either my heirloom gears are too OP or low level instances are too cheap .. it's damn easy after Cata.
Being a Hunter I say; we where absolutely overpowered as SV, and have been laughable, ridiculously low on the other two speccs. I am welcoming the changes with open arms.Regarding the 70% armor for pets; as far as I recall that is not a NERF but rather a BUFF to ferocity and cunning pets who are now on par with the base armor from tenacity pets. I have to check myself once I am able to log on, but please, for the love of Azeroth and Outland; We are all aware of the sometimes unclear descriptions of Blizzard's patch notes and tooltips. So before you all start flaming on something you are not sure about, either wait for the patch go live and check for yourself OR get on the PTR to see what it is all about. I wish my Client would not crash my computer everytime I tried to patch for ptr, and I have long cast that option away and just be patient.
Logged on after the patch this morning (EU server) and was amused that the first change I noticed was the fishing "cogwheel" has been changed yet again... now instead of a little fish, we get a little fish hook.Does this mean I fish too much? >.>Also I'm very happy the two glitched holiday quests are now working properly. Purple proto, here I come!
there's a bug in wowhead database, it shows Rebuke as Sacred Shield in hyperlinks (SS is replaced with Rebuke). It would be nice if somebody fixed it :)
WHY IS THERE NO MENTION OF THE DRUID SHAPESHIFTING IN THESE PATCH NOTES ?
For anyone who thinks Resto Shamans can't compete with Pallys and Priests.........you're playing it wrong. We have a Resto Shammy in our guild that not only matches Pallys and Priests, he beats them. I'm not completely sure what he does differently, but he doesn't have many mana issues (he can heal through a full heroic never dropping below 50% mana with no deaths) and still does all the healing he needs.
I had about 1500 gold worth of Archaeology greys that I finally got to empty out of my bags- so happy.I hadn't had a chance to check the Exalted thing- are you saying that they actually took the title away from people that had it? That seems kind of shifty. What's next- loremaster?
From my understanding of shamans being last in the healing charts is during raids. All healers can heal heroics once they are geared. During the raids, however, shaman fall way behind with paladins and priests being the huge majority of top healers and druids falling in the middle. I dont have my shaman to 85 yet, but this is just based on the resarch I have done before I rolled him. But my point of view is there can only be a single #1 and all classes are competent. So what if you had 2k less HPS than the pally. or that hunter did 2.5k more dps than you. If the boss is dead then the raid/heroic group was a success. Knowing the fight mechanics and playing smart are more important now than ever. Being a smart player is > having the biggest numbers on recount. Just my 2cp
/totally agreed. all this QQ'ing and complaining from dps classes, does it really matter? "WTF i cant brag that i got the highest dps on recount" who cares? as long as you know how to play your class and the objective at hand is being met does it really matter that your dps or hps numbers went down a little? or that you have to mana up a little more than you used to.
To all healers qqing about mp5: Jar of Ancient RemediesMana problem solved.
