I like how everyone who didn't like Cataclysm is instantly branded as a bad who only doesn't like it because they're awful Wrath babies who only used to succeed because everything was spoon-fed to them.I don't care for Cataclysm very much.I don't like the buginess of the expansion. I don't like the poor attention to text and proofreading in general. I don't like how often Blizzard conflates the concepts of 'difficult' and 'time consuming.' I don't like how poorly implemented Lol Sobad was, especially given the volume of Beta tester feedback. One thing I do like is the additional challenge raiding and heroic bosses involved, compared to their Wrath counterparts. I'm also 9/12 this tier of raiding. As a healer who had to adjust from a Wrath mindset to a Cata mindset. I'm not exactly the creme de la creme of raiding, but before you jump down my throat and call me a 'bad Wrath baby' for not liking this expansion, you might want to count your progression on your fingers and make sure I'm not better than you. Because if I am, it might make you look like a poor player if you say I'm just frustrated as a result of my ineptitude.
I suppose I am one of those "stubborn" people. I don't want an authenticator, because the additional inconvenience is not outweighed by the potential protections. I am a casual player. I am not an officer in any of my guilds except for the little tiny one I am a GM of on a server I don't play on much anymore, and there's nothing of value in the guild bank.If my account were to get hacked (which I have thus far avoided, hopefully because I use strong passwords and good browsing practices in general) it would be an inconvenience, but as long as ownership of my account were restored, I wouldn't care about lost items, deleted characters, etc. Really, if all my characters got deleted, I would probably just start a totally new account instead. I create way too many alts and enjoy leveling too much to care if my one toon languishing at 80 were to disappear, and making gold is a big part of the fun of the game for me, so that wouldn't faze me either. It doesn't make any sense for my casual WoW playing self to have to have a keychain in my immediate possession if I want to hop on. I've had too many friends with authenticators IM me in a panic because they can't find their authenticator and a raid is starting in ten minutes. And yes, it would have to be the keychain, since my phone isn't supported by the app.
It's really sad how these boards are turning bad due to posters who are complete idiots. This thread is so far a prime example.
