And it's not only root, you'll get out of snare also, wich you can't dispel.Having a Feral Druid alt that was my main all WotlK long and his now level 82, I can see why so many druid are mad, but I understand the nerf. Being able to break 80% of the CC in-game while just shapeshifting was really a strong ability, way too strong in fact. And for the one comparing yourself with a rogue, don't you exagerate a bit ? Feel like "OMG - I'M GETTING NERFED SO LET'S QQ ON THE INTERWEBS".You still have instant-cast Cyclone, Feral Charge, Root, Maim, Skull Bash can heal yourself without too much problem (more efficient than Recuperate, as it also leaves HoT on your), can switch to bear form in case of problem so you eat less damage and pop Frenzied Regeneration and have access to Bash...Honestly, Feral druid are REALLY strong right now. Bleeds alone where killing you (undispellable), and on top of that, they were freaking hard to CC.
NOW they have Traps and Distract Shot cancel autoshot :/ It does make it so much easier than in BC when we had to pull a mob to us to trap and keep a DS on it to keep it's aggro when the trap pops. We needed a macro that fired distract shot and stop autoshot for those instances. You know how much nicer it would have been if they applied this at that time? haha
They changed it now because auto-shot is no long cancelled by movement.

It now surrounds the caster with fel energy, increasing spell power and causing the warlock to be healed for 3% of any single-target spell damage he or she deals.Example: The Warlock has 115k health.Original: Restores 2% health per 5 seconds...(0.02*115000) = 2300 Health per 5 seconds.New: Restores 3% health of spell-damage dealt...If the warlock pulls 15k DPS then - ((0.03*15000)*5) = 2250 Health per 5 seconds (or 450 health per second)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The two spells come very close PvE-wise unless I am looking at this wrong (Are DoTs included?), it's now based on damage done instead of just being a passive health regen. This is a huge nerf in PvP regardless though.Edit: From what I am reading DoTs are included.

I lose. And that is all there is too it. I would have to be insanely better than you (and better geared than you) to win. Am I the only Hunter that completely disagrees with the "autoshot while running" thing? I mean... with Aspect of the Fox, and autoshots while running... we ONLY miss the extra attackpower from Aspect of the Hawk (less than 10% of total attackpower) but otherwise can contribute full damage as a RANGED attacker as long as you do not hug the hitbox of your target? Help? It feels like being a Hunter becomes more and more easy. No refreshing a powerful Serpentsting anymore. And soon not going to worry about stop-to-fire breaks while running? I cannot agree somehow.The PvE hunter 4-piece set bonus has been redesigned. It now reduces the cast time of Steady Shot and Cobra Shot by .2 seconds...Really Blizz? Really? from a bonus set that had unique creative mechanics for BM, MM, and SV to a reduced steady/cobra casting time?I totally agree, the bonuses were unique and sounded nice, but they were NOT balanced at all;
What nerf to shapeshifting?They removed alot of mobility from Feral Druids, and nerfed bleeds (I can understand Bleeds). So we are rogue's without Shadowstep, Blind, Sap, Vanish and more.Disclaimer: Feral Charge is no Shadowstep as it is effected greatly by jumping and lag just like ChargeSorry... but... if one wanted to be a rogue while being a druid... They're doing it wrong. Druids are for versatility. Rogues don't have Barkskin, combat and out of combat ressurection spells, the versatility to be a tank, melee dps, ranged dps AND healer all on one character, incredibly awesome and instant flight forms, need I say more? Each has their place, but if you rolled a feral druid just to be immune to root, and polymorph effects and practically immune to slows, then you should try rolling a rogue. There are only two classes that can root: Mages and Druids. Four if you count Shaman that specialize into the totem talent and Warriors that specialize into the hamstring talent.It's not game breaking, it's balancing.
