As of today, I'm one more day away from getting exalted w/ them. w00t!
I farmed these quests until I got exalted. I rather enjoyed it. It would be nice however to seen a progress bar in the Achievement menu for the Glop and Pebble quests though, since there are achievements for doing each 10 times, and I have lost track of how near I am to the achievements. As for the randomness of the random dailies ... well, nothing is perfect. I have seen some of them repeat for 3 consecutive days. Somebody can probably show mathematically that this is not so rare, but in my experience the Pebble quest has become the rarest of the rares (i.e. 3 days of Glop, followed by 2 days of the dragon, followed by Glop then Pebble). For a time the Glop quest was the most annoying of the bunch in my opinion, because there were long line-ups to get to him. It is also easy to "steal" the kill from someone else by tapping him even if you do not initiate the conversation with Norsala. I would like to see this fixed, even if it is a smaller issue now that there are fewer people still running it.EDIT to add: As an example of the "randomness", I got the 10x Glop Achievement this morning, and to my best recollection have only done the Lost in the Deep quest 3 times.
Heh. Already exalted. Saving the Underground Economy quest to get myself a Shale Spider pet on the days the Underground Economy quest isn't up (it's pretty easy to tell).> Hated the Broodmother quest.
Looks like you failed to mention the Glop family line achievement, granted when you complete the Glop, son of glop daily 10 times.
Glop stealing was fixed a while ago. As long as you are on his threat at some point before he dies, you get credit. No tag needed!
Can't quote that post apparently, wonder if it's because of the character limit on non-premium accounts.
confirmed, re: cheesing the My Very Own Broodmother Achievement. I did this just last night. Just hop up the stones and kill the dragon (it doesn't even have to be your dragon, I helped kill a pally who already had her at 50%), jumped down, struck the crystal and got the achievement. I imagine this will get fixed so go get this easy achievement now.
There are some oddities regarding Glop, Son of Glop that many are not aware of.The first is that Glop does indeed have a "shared" threat table. Anyone can receive quest credit regardless of whether or not they were the first to tap him or speak to the NPC to start the event. So if another group has started it -- or if another group tapped him after you started the event -- keep up, get a few hits in, and lend a hand. You'll all be rewarded, and this will also increase your chances at achieving Fungalophobia if you have difficulties with it solo. The second oddity is that killing Glop rewards the quest criteria for speaking to the NPC as well as defeating Glop himself. (This is so that groups like those described above all benefit.) However, the credit for defeating him may not be reflected in your quest log. Don't despair. Ruberick at Therazane's Throne will still accept the quest to be turned in even though it may appear that need to take another crack at it.
