thos spectecal mounts look good i want one bad
lol i hate when they go afk on the mailboxes
The Alliance has banned mounts that produce too much carbon. Thats why we can't get the goblin cars, and the Horde has an extra mount. :) The Horde has no respect for the environment, or the effects of climate change >:|I was never really a mammoth fan, actually. (but its kinda cute when I wear the murloc suit, and the mammoth shrinks down to gnome-size.) The other reason for not using ground mounts is pure speed. You can fly along the ground faster than ride on it.
Personally I'm in the mood for killing blizzard for the requirements for half of these mounts.Reins of the Dark Phoenix: Needs 8/10 or 20/25 of the people in the raid to be from the same guild - My guild has 79 members, I can say at least 9 of those are mine and about 20 of the others are two of my other friends, this is impossible for a guild like mine unless we go on a mass recruit for all the elitist ***holes on the server, and then we'll still probably not get it because they'll nerdrage about how we haven't done it within a week and leave again.Reins of the Kor'kron Annihilator: Needs Guild Level 25 - This didn't seem like such a bad thing before the nerf to guild exp and rep, but now that they've screwed it over my guild is barely reaching 25% of the daily exp cap, and as I said before, I am NOT going on a mass recruit so that we can just powerlevel and turn our guild into something it's not, a big one full of people we don't know, we're a small guild for people who know each other well.Sandstone Drake: This is ridiculous if the price estimate is coorect, 30k gold for a shapeshift? If I had that kind of money I wouldn't need to go farming for that recipe, I'd be running around on all sorts of mounts, choppers, proto drakes, traveller's tundra mammoths, you name it!So yeah, I come to my main point:Blizzard have ruined the game again for the small guilds, the underpopulated, and the poor.
Man I wish alliance could get the scorpion! thats the coolest one!
I have to aggree. I have a small 70 person guild, a lot are not online regularly. When we were running ICC raids we Always had to pug half the raid. So once again the large guilds of "hardcore raiders"will get everything done. I like that you can level your guild but a drawback is when i was spamming tradefor members I got the reply "what level is your guild?" when I said level 1I got "nevermind"! and the xpachas only been out 2 weeks!
That was never my argument, I didn't care and still don't. And I have a whole stable of rare mounts that 99.99% of players will never have. My argument was about how the mount reflected on game culture, not that I cared that others had a reskinned version of something I personally took pride in. And lo and behold and today the guild mount is not the Dark Phoenix but a "tricked out faction mount".If the Ashes were removed from the game, or every last player and their 12-year-old kid's bank alt got one, all that would change, would be that I would start riding around one of the many other mounts I have that are owned only a tiny fraction of a percent of the playerbaseThere are many mounts I do not have and never will. Black proto? ZA bear? Glad drakes? Oldschool rides? Black Qiraji Battle Tank?Do you really think I consider this game not worth playing because I will never have a chance at those? That's not to say I haven't made efforts at getting them against the odds...but I don't feel the urge to quit because I met with no success.
not locked to me
You, sir, raise a very good point. XD The only time I've really seen someone level 78 or higher -- or for that matter, 60 or higher -- on a ground mount since 4.0.3a is if they had an exceedingly rare one. (read: Swift Spectral Tiger)
The point is simple irony is all; you were such a staunch opponent of the changes, and had threatened to quit, then you turn around and bash someone for saying pretty much the exact same thing you did. As for what I can prove; there's nothing to prove, as you do all the proving for the rest of us.
