This is a very good feature to have, will help with the lore achi :)Thanks Wowhead
Ewww Malgayne. You're using a mac. D: *Removes Malgayne from list of important people to look up to*I hope I wasn't the only one frantically clicking on the image up there hoping for something to happen. To add insult to injury, I'm on a pc and that is clearly the Mac interface.Quit the Mac bashing. Each to their own preference. I don't go saying "oohhh you must bad cause you don't use a Mac". So don't do it here. It's a really thottbot-ish comment to make and has no place being on wowhead.

It's a really thottbot-ish comment to make and has no place being on wowhead. If Malgayne has a sense of humour (which I think he does), he would just laugh and move on.Nothing wrong with a bit of good natured banter. Some people take everything so seriously.I still wouldn't use a Mac though.I need to find that wav file and put it as my startup sound again. Then my PC would once again confirm: "I'm NOT a Mac. I am not a MAC." :POT: Nice feature. Will have to explore it a bit.
Excellent filter idea! Thanks to whomever suggested this to WoWhead
Yay!I was so hopeful this would be revamped and updated for Cataclysm.I used this back when I was churning for Loremaster, and while it was somewhat imperfect, it helped tremendously in finding at least 85% of the quests I was still lacking. It is also tremendous for doing esoteric quest threads (like the distress beacons for the mechanical chicken pet).Even though I am already a Loremaster, I will be going back to blast out all the classic quests, so I can experience them, as well as collect the achievement points, and help level my guild. Thanks so much!
Downloaded. Used it to launch WoW. Logged in on my main. Uploaded the data, but nothing it showing up in my user profile...Am I missing something?
If only now this would work for "show quest givers". Considering some quests are counted as cretin zones, but they are started in other zones.

Downloaded. Used it to launch WoW. Logged in on my main. Uploaded the data, but nothing it showing up in my user profile...Am I missing something?Same situation, but for more than 1 month
awesome thanx wowhead
These instructions really aren't great. I downloaded the client, and uploaded my information but that is as far as I got. What do you mean "go to the character you want to use as your main"? I don't see any way to select a character, in fact I see nothing to do with my characters at all. I definitely don't see a "pin" button. And therefore, I don't have any option to do a personal search....
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I downloaded the (Mac) client, launched WoW through it and nothing ever happens :/
Okey, I do exactly as it says.1. I have downloaded the client and logged in with the right Wowhead username (it even said "Authentication succeeded")2. I have logged in to WoW and typed /wl collect3. I have exited the game and pressed the Upload button on the client. And I can still not see any "Character" tab on my user page? What do I do wrong?Edit: I'm using Mac btw...
This is why I originally got the completion tracker. I figured I'd be able to look at a normal quest page and it would say in the info pane if I'd done it or not, and I'd be able to search via that. And now, I can. :)This is amazing! Now searching for all of the quests I haven't done for <insert rep grind here> Rep is easier than ever!Yep, one filter for "The Kalu'ak" or whatever other faction, Thorium Brotherhood, Stormwind, etc. and then the second one for completion.I don't know why people are saying this would make Loremaster easier. It's already been trivialized twice, firstly since the Completion Tracker has always shown you which quests you haven't completed by zone, and secondly this patch creates one for each zone in old world content. What do you mean by Completion Tracker? I'm somewhat confused... Did I miss something?
That image looks absolutely terrible on a mac.
Meh, the new way that quests are formatted are way too easy now, they're similar to Northrend in their flow and you can easily just restart for your achievement character since ALL of the quests have been redone and reset (to prove, I have two Chained Essences of Eranikus). The old Loremaster was something that made you jump all over the map and do obscure and unusual quests, where as these zone specific achievements make it easy to find exactly where you stopped and where you should pick back up. In my opinion, this improvement has come too late to be of much help.
