Ive run it since Vanilla... Back then with guildies.... In BC with few friends.... and in Wotlk ive soloed it practically on every reset ive had the chance to do so. And still no drop... So sorry if i cant give any sympathy points for ur "effort" of whopping 25 runs...
*sigh*.Spent all my noob days(most) in silverpine forest. Now it all changes
One of the most awesome dungeons ever. It will be greatly missed by many of us!
It's good to see some nice stuff happening for the horde considering how much the allies were given in wotlk. and everyone hated wotlk for its super easy instances, horrid class balance problems, and everything else... now that the horde is on top, maybe things will be better. = Pnot that i expect anyone to rush to defend garrosh during the for the alliance raids. What? Give more to Horde? Allies were given alot? Ok lets start early on better racials....horde. Gear for Horde has always looked better, First thing that comes to mind is the shield out of 10 or 25 man ToC Horde gets a cool coffin lid Alliance get a Dalaran sewer lid. Mounts horde get kodos and wolves , Alliance get horses and mechanical chocobos. Ive been playing acouple days so far and see tons of Horde with a Goblin Turbo Trike and all the searching i have done has come up with nothing on a new Alliance mount ( if there is please point me in the right direction ) . Horde being on top has never seemed to be much of a issue i have toons on 5 different servers and the Alliance are always the bottom feeders lucky if they can win a WG just to get it done for the week. But i do say the changes i have ran into have been very very nice. The new quests were actually fun, watching a ogre belly flop onto a spider then ride it around was my favorite so far.
In the few hours I have been playing, the one thing that I think is a nice improvement, especially for those who are below level 20 and have no mounts, is the addition of more Flight Masters in the various zones. Now you don't have to walk all the way from the far side of the zone you are working in to head back to say Stormwind, or Ironforge. It even make it easier to get from one part of the zone to another without have to walk so much.
Blasted Lands (45-55)Hardly. I just ran to both alliance outposts at 51. NO quests available...
What about Azshara? Just a total blunder on someone part? the zone has been completely redone.
very impressed with the beta :)
you should edit the article of orgrimmar.NO EVICTIONS happend in the city. Prior to cataclysm, Orgrimmar had only orcs in the center already, and the only non-orc in the valley of strenght was Gamon.post-cataclysm this has changed, and you can find Forsakens, Blood elves, trolls, taurens, and LOTS of goblins in the center of orgrimmar.I can safely say that Orgrimmar is the most Bio-diverse city in the entire game. (exept maybe for shat and dalaran)
Of Zul'Gurub R.I.PEDIT: woow, my post got famous :D, anyways since i was on beta, i can say Vashjir and deepholm is ALMOST worth it.The most crappy part about losing it is how the place is currently empty. My wife and I went through it for old times' sake and it was just eerie. I was hoping that if they pulled something out they'd put something else in its place at least.
"Whoa whoa whoa... Am I reading this right? Horde have taken dominance in a good number of zones after wiping out Alliance towns, and all the Alliance managed to do in retaliation was destroy was that little camp in the Barrens? Seriously?"Yeah, something like that. What else is new? While the horde retook echo islands with relative ease, alliance of course got booted out of gnomer and failed miserably to retake it in one shot. While org gets revamped with new structures and upgraded layout, stormwind gets torn up by deathwing with a nice new pond and a bigger castle. Oh, and another bank. Because I guess one wasn't enough. And on top of that, worgen get what is essentially plains running, which means no new mount for alliance.
Where is Burning Steppes? May not much as changed but it'd be nice to have them all in one place. Makes it easier to find the flight points.
Come on, just put "Alliance got @#$%ed in every map while Horde got new camps and towns in maps that were neutral or entirely dominated by the Alliance". Edit: The Wetlands are changed both drastically and minimally. The majority of the zone remains mostly the same. Few exceptions are Menethil's Harbor being mildly flooded, but still inhabited and used - by the Dark Irons. The Green Belt, formerly an area populated with Fen Creepers and guarded by Rethiel the Greenwarden, is now a small night elven settlement - Greenwarden's Grove. On the other side of the Wetlands, things are a little different. Everything beyond the Dragonmaw Gates is now part of the Twilight Highlands, including the area where Grim Batol used to be. He, yeah sure, a zone that will be helped by Stormwind and Ironforge forces if it is attacked got conquered by Dark Iron Dwarves. Edit 2: Draeneis are a dead race for Blizz :D
Undead hunters... ridiculous. So ridiculous that they have been in the game since Vanilla? Fun fact: He is now the Hunter Trainer in UC :)It boggles my mind when people complain about Human Hunters, Undead Hunters, or Blood Elf Warriors. All three of those combinations were only left out because Blizzard decided that no race should have access to more than 6 classes in Vanilla/BC. Yes, I know Undead only had 5 options in Vanilla/BC, but it would be really weird if they had access to Hunters and Humans did not. And Belf Warriors also might have been left out because they were afraid giving an AoE silence to a Warrior would be too powerful, but that is still not a Lore reason.
It's baffling how boring places like ToC or the Violet Hold stay in the game while Zul'Gurub is simply removed (and the changes to the Deadmines - one of the most "believable" areas of the game - were not for the better, either). It seems some of these changes are just for the sake of changing something (like the "more blues than reds" meta-gems) and don't take into account how well-liked (or well-balanced, or how relevant for game lore) some areas and items are.I completely agree with this. The Deadmines was a classic, and they have completely changed it. They removed Smite for $%^&s sake.R.I.P. "We're under attack! Avast, ye swabs! Repel the invaders!"I can't understand the logic in removing some things that were nearest and dearest to those of us that have played and loved WoW for 6 years. At least SM is still intact...right? :(
Tecnically Teldrassil is a tree, so only thing deathwing can do to it is to burn it. Luckily, he attacked Stormwind and not Darnassus.Edit:Oh yes..... now Gamon pwns, so we should make him the horde leader instead of mister blockhead I mean Garrosh. And lets swicth Wyrn whit Malfurion. Then everybody could get ower the loss of gurub, right?
AMAZING! I cant wait to lvl in these new zones =)
Intact- the Stormwind end is modified some otherwise no real change, unless the graphics were updated.
