80 people per faction? holy &*!@ lets hope its not a part of eastern kingdoms and lag the whole continent like WG did. for northrend other than that this sounds like itll be a lot funner than WG cuz to me more people involved= more chaos which of course = more fun
horray for another failed attempt at world pvp by blizzardcant wait til i see a hundred siege vehicles driving around
Vehicle mechanics is not why Wintergrasp fails. Also, you can't say that Tol Barad will be a failure of world PvP until you've tried it. To do otherwise is to claim clairvoyance.
Wintergrasp failed because world pvp is pretty much only fun when it's driven by players. Have you ever had fun in WG, or on a for the alliance raid? No, because you're there for a goal. I raided Razor Hill with a few people from trade, and it was the most fun I've had in a long time. The raids in vanilla on southshore were possibly the funnest though.
Some of us prefer siege engines, you know
Ok, if you don't like the WoW vehicle mechanic, either play any BG other than SotA, or don't be on vehicle duty.
Says you. I don't mind the vehicles, and I think there are people in this thread that think they are great.
So...siege engines aren't driven by players? And who gives a flying $^& if they haven't played other PvP styles. If they like WoW's model, I don't think playing a different MMO's PvP will really change that. WoW is not a PvP-centric game. Of course, other games will do PvP better*.*Entirely subjective. What one person dislikes, several people could enjoy immensely.
*Links successful troll picture I am too lazy to look up for real*I'll just leave this here.
Based on his history, I don't think he's a(n) (intentional) troll.
I see your point, you dislike the vehicle mechanic. Sadly for you, you don't work at Blizzard with the ability to say "PvP should not consist of vehicles." Honestly, there are only so many ways to do PvP with just players running around doing objectives. Vehicles add more options. If you don't like vehicle-driven PvP, don't do it. It. Is. That. Simple.
