Don't expired accounts already get free days? I had 10 free days when I rejoined a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps it was from a previous campaign.

If I was able to have any strong degree of confidence in having an account that would not be subject to being hacked, at least not as exposed to the threat as it had been previously, and that, if it were, I could count on WoW to be helpful in taking care of the situation rather than simply being an added layer of frustration, I would most likely go ahead and sign back up ( with a completely new account ) since virtually all of my gaming friends are planning to do the same.Get an authenticator? If you don't want to pay $7, they are available for free for some mobile phones and a new free authenticator call-in service was announced last week.
Note that if you have a friend that can send you a scroll of resurrection, do not use the 7 free days. My friend did this a while back, and the free time made him ineligible for the scroll, meaning I didn't get a free month :(
Sort of tempting, given that my last account just expired a couple of days ago... But I just went into the new forums and saw my real name there. (And yes, I know it's in theory shown only to you... and to anyone else on your wireless network, since it's an unencrypted page. I just don't feel that this lives up to Blizzard's previous promises to keep real names out of the forums.)
Must... not play!...It's stronger than me i have to get back to game :(
