Hehe, I sold tons of these for 200g each, theres gonna be alot of mad people on me...
Ok, I don't post often, but I feel kinda gypped on this. That Shendrelar is being removed from the Insane achievement in Cata is fine. I get a separate FoS for being Exalted with them. Fine. But this is what has me peeved :Quote:Bloodsail Buccaneer faction reputation will remain in-game. Also, to ensure that this change does not negatively affect Cataclysm quest progression in Stranglethorn Vale, Booty Bay Bruisers will now provide reputation up through Exalted.Screw that. I want my FoS for being exalted with Bloodsail Bucs before Cata. When it actually took dedication and a ton of time to do.Yes, I am crazy, probably, but of everything else, seeing something that I grinded the hell out of, sacrificed my time and a number of group invites to do ... This is what ticks me off.Nice. There was no reason to do that. Let the guards do the same as always, it didn't affect anything. Why the change?
"QQ more please"
It's irritating that this title will basically have little meaning come Cata. Instead of catering to the QQ of "OMAHGAWD you guyz r takin this achievement out teh game? WTF, I didn't get a chance to do this!" it would be better to just remove this entirely to show some love to those that actually did this at the appropriate time. WoW is approaching its what, 6th anniversary this month? I understand that not everyone has played the game since its launch (myself included), however I took the time to do this FoS. If you have been waiting around to do stuff like this, or other achievements that are about to be removed, then in my opinion, you snooze you lose. It just sucks that this is something else that took some actual work to get and now arguably one of the most difficult requirements of it is no longer needed.
"Exalted reputation with Shen'dralar will no longer be required. As this is the only reputation that will be unobtainable in Cataclysm, we've simply decided to remove it as a requirement."Meaning we still have Zandalar tribe to get reputation with it seems.
Like getting Ashes of A'lar at lvl80 and complaining about a re-textured version for some guild achievement amirite?
Irony - it's not just an odd adjective describing something as ferrous anymore.
If you did the Shen'dralar rep your title should be "The Lifeless" or perhaps even "The High Probability This Person Is Unemployed" or "The MRGLGRGLRLGRGGL" ... yeah, especially that last one. :)
Finally! :D I started to farm reputation for Bloodsails to get the Title (not insane, just the pirate) with at least one char before cata but now I can do it with all chars later. Thank you Blizzard! :)
well i'm glad they are making this change, even without the ridiculously annoying Elf rep it's gonna take a bit of time. I had all but given up on it (made a pretty penny selling librams too) but now i think i might just go ahead and do it, because Pairofus the Insane still has a nice ring to it. :)
Related to Insane / Shen'dralar Feat of Strength changes... What I am unsure of is whether the reputation being removed from the game, or just impossible to advance after the expansion? (Will it still show up on character reputation tab?)If removed from the game like some of the classic reps from vanilla I am guessing it won't count towards personal / guild "exalted" achievement totals anymore. If anyone can cite sources clarifying this it would be helpful. If it still counts we're going to help one of our guildies finish up, if not really don't want to waste guild $ on a feat of strength for a single member that doesn't advance our guild achievements.Cheers,Rundorig
