What they SHOULD have done is made it so that you cannot have buffs from those outside the current raid group. meaning, you have three warlocks in a group, you're allowed a soulstone from each, and if someone outside the raid buffs one of your raid members with a soulstone, you lose the buff - and if someone joins the raid, buffs, and leaves, the raid loses the buffs the person who left provided. This is how it has been for a very very long time, you can't soulstone someone not in your group and when you leave their group they lose your soulstone. As for nerfing druids/warlocks utility: yes that's the point, the utility was too strong when you had too many warlocks and druids at once so it required nerfing to balance it.
What about the Death Knights ghoul rez? Will this be the new "oh sh*t" button, or is this getting nerfed too?
What about the Death Knights ghoul rez? Will this be the new "oh sh*t" button, or is this getting nerfed too?well the ghoul rez isnt a combat rez since it only lasts 5 minutes and your forced to use ghoul abilities while in it. basically you become a controlled guardian instead of a rezzed ally.
My only real issue with this nerf is the fact that there isn't a debuff or some form of identification when your out of battle rezes. It would make more sense to me to give everyone a similar debuff to exhaustion or whatever it is from having heroism used on you. Everyone can see its been used and how much longer it will last. Makes way more sense than simply having the spell fail if you try to cast it to many times. When combat end, the debuff goes away. Doesn't sound hard to program. If i'm in a huge raid fight. I'm one of two healers in a 10man, been told to battle rez this target if he dies and the other tank has a soulstone on him. My guy dies, i spend time casting battle rez, but it fails because the other tank already used his soulstone? I've wasted time i could be healing someone by casting the battle rez. I dont think thats fair.
