"The tricky thing is we try to show, not tell, and we don't want to bury players in dialogue and cutscenes." - Ghostcrawler.YET YOU KEEP FAILING AT IT. God, pretty much every NPC with a character design has only informed strengths and doesn't even show half of what they are capable of in WoW. I've been waiting for them to do exactly that, and when they say they've done it, it just grinds my gears. Then again, it's not like GC's in charge of the lore and it's implementation in game, so yeah.
Interesting read. Have to agree about there not being info in-game; it sucks to read all that on wowwiki pages. >.<
Where is my moose? still no answer.
Still, I was hoping for a much more dramatical change. If you ask me they should be much bolder in changing the game.
GC's a genuinely cool guy. I always like reading his interviews. That said... level 200+ is a little ambitious. And he's the Lead Systems Designer. If I were him, and I had to think about abilities/spells to add from level 85 to 200... I would go crazy. He admits they had a hard enough time going from 81 to 85! We're topping out on things like Riding, too. Is faster than 310% really needed? Professions will scale fairly well... but class abilities? Ugh.
A full interview full of good questions with decent to good answers? What is this?
