He should have wrapped it up with "Worst Blizzcon Ever!" before sitting down.
Hahaha xD Owned..
Yea, I remember that from the online DirectTV stream :) The general WoW Q&A was actually one of my favorite parts of the entire BlizzCon - and you, sir, should really spend some time and watch the panels you didn't watch, since all of them are available for another week or so on the BlizzCon website for those who have had a ticket, be it physical or virtual.
Bless him, he seemed very nervous and a little 'slow' but my god he pwned them! Love the red shirt guy.
On that note - how long before J!nx comes up with a "red shirt guy" T-Shirt, whaddaya think?
I am totally getting a red shirt!
Is this another epic WoW player to sit aside Leeroy and the Onyxia Wipe Animation guy?
Red Linen Shirt agrees
I remember that guy from BlizzCon when I saw it live at my tv. (It was totaly nice, you could swap from each stage without walking, just moving the mouse.)/agrees with ArgentSunJ!nx totaly gotta get one of these Red Linen Shirt
For over 15 years worth of lore, an existing ret-con, and the general "unprepared and so what" attitude from Metzen (watch the opening of the Quests and Lore Q&A)... they're not doing too bad as far as continuity. That this has gone as far as Yahoo's front page news is just sad. Think of all the hundreds of mistakes found by Trekkies, the rare few found in Joss Whedon shows (26 plot holes for the whole run of Buffy? Not bad)...I'm not impressed that one continuity error in Beta slipped through.
So there's yet another "inconsistency" between the Beta and The Shattering. Things like this were brought up like 50,000 times during the lore Q&A, at least from the videos I've seen.Nothing really new here, though fun to see someone bring a valid point up.
There is probably not a whole lot else this kid would pwn anyone at...that being said...Bravo! ;) Everyone get's their moment in the spot light I guess hehe.
I can't play the video right now, so can someone tell me what exactly it's about?
I can't play the video right now, so can someone tell me what exactly it's about? The new part of "For the Horde!" in Catacylsm involves killing 3 Dwarf bosses, the "Council of Three Hammers". One of the members of this is Falstad Wildhammer, who is currently, in Live, the leader of the Aerie Peak Dwarves, the Wildhammer Clan (the reason Dwarves get Shammies in Cata). Falstad Wildhammer himself also appears in the book relating to Cata, The Sundering.Red Shirt Guy's point is, that in the current Beta, the Wildhammer representative in the Council of Three Hammers is not Falstad Wildhammer (who it should be and is in/after the events in The Sundering), but instead Kurdran Wildhammer. The video ends with the lore team admitting their mistake and claiming that they will see to it.
Lore Legend in the making haha!
Nerds calling each other nerds. I'd feel bad for Metzen and Afrasiabi, not the guy in red. After all, they're the ones who write the story, and they screw it up on a regular basis.
Red Shirt Guy for warchief!
He should have wrapped it up with "Worst Blizzcon Ever!" before sitting down.oh u are a genius
Yeah, I would guess he has a slight disability. For that matter, which of us doesn't? They just show up in different ways ;) I loved the way he stayed calm and on point, and was able to counter their "Gee, isn't he dead?" response with specific facts. Nothing nerdy there.I'm pretty sure I've got a Red Linen Shirt in my bank-- when I log on today, I'm gonna go equip it!

The questions about moose, Kalecgos, and (lol) character slots were definitely scripted.Plants undermine the entertainment value and feeling of inclusiveness. I don't see a reason to attend what is basically a press release and not a real dialogue. He should have wrapped it up with "Worst Blizzcon Ever!" before sitting down. There was a realm meet at Blizzcon again this year. People who attended said it was the worst realm meet ever. I read a list of the attendees. I had no idea who most of these people were and no one else I spoke to did, either. The list included an attention-seeking girl everyone hates (who came only because she failed at scalping because no one wanted the ticket), a paralytic, several fat people, and some guy whom I know personally who came just for exclusive offerings and another spectral tiger. Everyone else basically shrugged and said they didn't see a reason to attend, and one guild actually hosted their own realm meet in the Midwest, contemporaneous with Blizzcon....Also, how many nerds in this thread actually know what the term "Red Shirt" is a reference to? And no, it's not the Royal Army.
