This is how folks can get jobs at big companies when they point out they know some facts better than the folks who are coming up with this stuff. LFM- Lore Manager.
Red Shirt is a reference to Star Trek. Basically the poor no-name bastard who got killed every time they had an off-ship mission. It could be a reference to other things as well, but that's what I'm familiar with.
When they fix this lore, I am hoping there will be a spinoff quest with a Red Shirt as the quest reward.
How is pointing out a minor detail about something Metzen had nothing to do with considered "being schooled?" I'm genuinely curious as to why this kid is gaining so much notoriety. The mistake was made by the development team, not the people responsible for writing the lore.
I don't get why this is such a big deal, aren't all WoW players like this? Not knowing how to speak properly and the like?
Chris Metzen: Isn't Falstad dead?Red Shirt Guy: NoAlex Afrasiabi: We're gonna get that fixed.:)
Some of you might not agree with this. Although Red Shirt Guy is correct lore-wise. I think Alex made the right choice of putting Kurdran Wildhammer as the Wildhammer representative, he was the one who ventured in to Outland and he is in game the stronger character. (Not that it matters lore-wise) As for Falstad, he should still be the leader of the Wildhammer Clan.
<3 this guy! He's so awesome. ^_^
Apparently red allows you to think faster, go red blizz, go red.
Personally, I'm just loving the look of the pair on the panel at the end. That's the look of "Did we just get pwned? Yeah we did."
