I would like to strip you whiners of all your block, dodge and parry chance and see how long you'll survive. Indeed, not too long.You might want to have solid mitigation and large health pools, but seriously, what is the fun if each hit strikes you for 100k and you mitigate 25k from each of those hits? Then you don't even have to fight any more but just have to add up the DPS's DPS, see how long the fight would last, see how much damage you would take, look at the healer's healing throughput and mana and you know exactly if you're going to win or not.I think you underestimate the value of "random". Random is what actually makes a game like this fun and it has for decades now. If you remove the random from a game like this, it would just be boring and dull.

We're the salt of the earth players with the broad shoulders that take the blame for almost everything when the &*!@ hits the fan and we love it because we're all sadists that like to be hit in the face by a 100ft tall dragon over and over again! So the shield carriers are getting rebalanced slash nerfed? So? We just roll with it like we do everything else. Learn, adapt, play harder and scream at the top of your lungs while you doing it - that might be just me though! What's the alternative? Swapping your shield shield out for a dress and jumping around in circles?And remember, Taunt is your friend!Rant over! :D
I really think people are looking at this change too much in wotlk terms and not the new raids (and new gear). Tanks are having no problems with spike damage in the beta raids. You all are still thinking you need to have 100% or you are going to be killed in 3 seconds. The fact is the majority of shield block was being wasted because it put you well over 100%Getting crit block for being over 100% 'some of the time' is a good trade-off for being sometimes under 100% for some of the fight. This is NOT wotlk. Tanks are dying because of mana issue in Cata, not because of 3 seconds of spike damage they received while under 100%The devs know what they are doing. This is a 'change' to warriors, not a nerf. What bears got was a nerf..
To all the Warrior whiners here I have 2 words for you ....Stance....Dance. If you think this is tough, you should have tried tanking on a warrior back in the day when you had to tab target everything, flip stances 46 times in a fight, and hope to hell that you never hit the wrong key at the wrong time.
