To be honest, I am a little disappointed that this is the only thing happening... I mean, it's cool and all, but at least the Zombie invasion directly effected the player world rather than being a novelty.
That'll show those gold-bots!"Hello from <Gold Website>! Buy gold now at for $xx.xx, much cheaper than our competition! We offer the best prices around and deliver your gol---"*gets killed by Deathwing*
when will this be... will it be at launch? because what if we ordered collectors and it is delayed for a week?
Yes, that's great. Let's have our questing unstoppably interrupted by a random NPC on a regular basis. Please, Blizz, don't stop there! Why not have people get randomly robbed of all their gold, too? Or lose a random piece of gear, epics first?Keep your cowcatcher-jawed dragon in his pooh-pooh raid instance where he belongs and let us play in peace.
This is hilarious. Considering it's going to be for maybe two weeks, I can see it being funny enough to not be to annoying. Certainly less annoying than the zombie BS from the last release.
I find its a great response to the complaining about all Arthas did was sit around and play villain of the week, where as Deathwing shows up and gives people an actual reason to go out and try and kill him besides just loot. And I guess this is going to be going on at the same time as the elemental invasion, so don't worry if Deathwing misses you I'm sure his army would be happy to help kill you. And the feat of strength is actually more about participation then most of the other ones that you get once a year just by showing up at the right time. And its based on luck which makes it harder then most.
Cool! Will he also kill all auctioneers, bankers, vendors and innkeepers?
It's not like that's anything new. :P Molten Core was merely a setback. And it's a bit cheap to say that we're paying $50 for that; two new races, a bunch of new zones, new instances and raids, new armors, new professions - they don't count for anything, do they? ;)
