I wouldn't mind the option of blood elf druid. I'll settle for trolls... anything but the moof druids we have now.
To quote Totalhalibut's intro to all his vids nowadays."EPIC!"
that would be the only think that may make me reroll Horde as i hate trolls feet and no way am i been a cow.CWR
Not to mention there are BE druids NPCs in the game, and they have a history(making the Guardian Stones). But noooo. I guess with them giving Trolls druids, they didn't want them to be skewed towards Horde. I could see Draenei learning druidism though if they really needed another Alliance to make it balanced.
Who is this again?
Who is this again?Laura Shigihara, composer of the soundtrack for the hit game Plants Vs. Zombies and singer of "There's a Zombie On Your Lawn"
If only everyone phrased their requests of Blizzard in the form of a kick-ass song instead of endless QQ!If I were a Blizzard dev, I'd grant her request on the basis of this polite and fun song alone. XD
she does not have a good singing voice. The video itself was rather boring. She also does not look like her blood elf, lol.
yeah, draenei don't even get any new classes in cata. And blood elf druids sound more fathomable than orc mages.....
Dwarves have (Wildhammer) Druid lore, the only thing against them is other then equality of horde races druids (I vote for BE but not as normal druids but botanist druids) is the fact then they will have every class, and now THAT would get QQ
As far as i'm concerned, the class restrictions should be gone. You should be able to pick your race, then pick what class you want to play. They could restrict certain things like your stats, but restricting you from a class is a bit silly. There is enough lore to say that there is at least one of every race in every class, so why restrict us.I must admit i dont like the fact that gnomes and now potentially goblins can become Death Knights... can anyone imagine the Lich King going out of his way to raise a gnome to be a Death Knight?
He probably did mass raisings over old battlefields, not individual ones. At least, that's the way I've always seen it.
If Blizzard makes blood elfs able to be druids....then i'll make a song to make Taurens rogues:|
Tauren rogues already do exist, theyre so good you cant see them until you die and even then theyre stealthed... infact so few people know how to pick one that nobody can confirm thier existence. As for the song it sounded kind of meh compared to theres a zombie on your lawn. :'(
I got thru about 10 seconds of that...
Dwarves have (Wildhammer) Druid loreActually no, that would be shamanism. There's not really any history of druidism in dwarven culture, even the Wildhammers. Those dwarf shamans in Cataclysm? They learned it from/are Wildhammer dwarves.Druidism is directly channeling the powers of nature, where as shamanism is more like bartering with the elements (A good rule of thumb is you won't see a shaman using plant/animal shifting/control type magic; on the other hand druids won't usually be utilizing totems and messing about with talking directly to the elements themselves)As far as i'm concerned, the class restrictions should be gone. You should be able to pick your race, then pick what class you want to play. They could restrict certain things like your stats, but restricting you from a class is a bit silly. There is enough lore to say that there is at least one of every race in every class, so why restrict us.While there may be gnome paladins and orc priests, playable classes are the ones considered common enough within the race that it wouldn't be an exceptionally unique occurrence (For instance, there may be a few draenei warlocks, but as a whole your chance of seeing one in mainstream draenic society is slim to none). Especially with druids/shamans, if every race was running around being one (Nothing like a Forsaken welcome bear mauling you?) it would slightly undermine the whole "You need to have forged close ties with the elements/spirits/nature, difficult path, etc." feel of the classes (talking more lore than RP here).
Who is this again?Read stuff moar bro.

That was really cute! Also, I do love that this talented young lady plays Horde. Her singing voice may not be what everyone enjoys, but she's apparently good enough to compose/perform the soundtrack to Plants Vs. Zombies, AND get a singing part in Cataclysm. I figure if you can say the same, you can offer to give her voice lessons. ;-)
she does not have a good singing voice. The video itself was rather boring. She also does not look like her blood elf, lol.So where are your videos of you singing again? Oh, wait..Anyway, not my style but I appreciate the sentiment. According to the lore, BEs (who were High Elves) shunned druidic magic in favor of the arcane, devoting all of their time to the study (and the eventual destruction) of the sunwell, before their banishment to Lordaeron and what is now the Plaguelands regions.Could some have picked it up again either before leaving or while on the other continent? Possibly, but not likely at all.
