Loaded goes 0-3! LightZ came in and, with some serious patience and determination, wore down Loaded and finally downed their rogue, Satz in all three fights. Well played LightZ, representing Russia, Germany and Hungary!Play by play provided by Isaac "Azael" Cummings-Bentley, Jared "Vhell" Colston and Luke "Virulence" Bodenheimer. These guys are doing a great job with the calling of the fights and post-fight analysis. It's the SportsCenter of Arena!Next fight: Winner's bracket Complexity.Red vs *AAA*.
Great story, TheAshenVerdict!I'm getting excited watching this tourney; do you get fired up in the Arena? I'm sure you're sometimes going through the motions against teams you're clearly eclipsing, but when the fight is fierce, do you find yourself getting wound up?
I've decided I'm pulling for *AAA*. 'Cause I'm GGG and we 3-letters gotta stick together. Yeah!I actually don't care who wins - good luck to both teams!
Ashen, do you find people tend to fall into predictable patterns? What did you feel someone can do to really pounce on an opponent or what can you do to prepare for the first attack? Also, Complexity.Red representing the US and AAA representing Europe (France x 2 and Italy)!
what. is. thi...? I don't understand.
The blog is about that and also about Arena and PvP. It's amazing.aAa and Com.Red went 20 minutes and the Arena timed out. If this happens again, winner will be chosen based off of total damage from first match, which would be aAa.Amazing match!
shouldn't you guys be posting on msn or twitter. This is wowhead.
Im using this to "liveblog". I'm working with what I've got! This endless fight is amazing. Another 20 min draw.aAa wins round one on a damage call. This is best of 5 - might be a long fight!
Group makeup:aAa Alliance 3manEle Shaman - HRKResto Druid - EnigmzAff Warlock - JamesComplexity.Red Horde 3manResto Druid - Sodaz (actually priest , more later)Arcane Mage - Yallgernades / VanrukiAff/Destro Lock - Alicalotapus / SnutzC.R changed Druid for priest!
Next arena is Nagrand. Both teams downed one last fight but C.R lost it in the end. aAa up 2-0!
C.R using mana burn strat. Amazing to see a full cloth group surviving so well against druid/shaman/lock. Completely changing my perspective on cloth survival.Snutz (lock) down - aAa wins!
With C.R losing, they now have a chance to get back into the fight for the $75,000 dollar top prize; loser of the last game takes home 30k; 15k to the third place (if I'm understanding the prizes correctly). C.R and LCA are up. Good luck to both teams.Setups often include druids here - what setups do you favor, Wowheaders?
C.R takes round 1. Didn't look like there was as much ferocity required from C.R. Good all-around plays. I'd say LCA is outclassed here, though that doesn't mean they're bad at all. Just not as good.Round 2!
