Thats just unbeliveable how someone wen through all the effort to get all these people/friends into doing such.I think this can help raise the awareness about cancer and I for one have supported this fact and I am overwelmed by this picture.Kudos to whoever came up with the idea.
Oooooook...I appreciate the thought, since it's really nice, but... I don't know... Might just have a Gnome phobia...
Now, if only there were people who were really willing to spread the word about child abuse awareness.v.v
This was heartwarming:) And i liked the South Park reference!:p
Sooooo how do we get a pink gnome cancer awareness day petitioned to Blizz then? ;-)
Dravinna, Guild Leader of SeeD here, also known as Tatayana the gnome. I just wanted to say, really, I cannot believe how many people showed up, how excited people were, and really, just how genuinely meaningful the event was for everyone. The event was something I thought up about weeks ago, and we all got together and threw together pretty quickly, so to see this many people, and raise this much money, the officers and the guild members are just over the moon. The guild will be sticking around all year. I might level Tata, or I might keep her level locked until next year! (She's pretty cute as is, I must say!) But next year's event will return with better advertisement, a bit more organization, and more fun! Thank you once again to all of you who showed up!Also, video of the event from Ëmerald, Guild Leader of Forge Camp Sunshine of the entire event: http://vimeo.com/15496721
Epic! Just epic!(Maybe gnomes aren't evil after all =D)
Congratulations to an awesome event. I'm so glad it turned out well! Tsk tsk to me, I logged on 30 minutes too late. Y'all were already closing in on Stranglethorn vale! My little gnomish legs wouldn't have carried me fast enough!
Leeanne, officer of <SeeD> here as well, just wanted to thank everyone for all of their support. If you are interested in donating to the event you can go to this linkhttp://www.info-komen.org/site/TR/PassionatelyPink/PassionatelyPink?px=8196587&pg=personal&fr_id=1846Which is the Susan G. Komen site for the cure and donate to our team and see the total amount given so far. Thanks for everything guys!Leeanne
Warcraft fans never cease to amaze me.
awsome blizzard should make this a yearly celebration.
that is really awsome they can take that to any place and make it a befit for somone great job :D wish i brough my gnome and ran it :(
This is simply amazing. You have done something really useful and positive. You did a really good thing, and you did it from a game!If only i had known earlier... i will not miss next years, promise.Really, this event should have more exposure on the web.Gnomes have now all my respect. /stand up and bows
My only regret is that I was not at all aware of this event. To prevent the same mistake from happening next year, I am adding this event to my Google Calendar. I will probably make a thread here on the forums a few days before that time so we can crash the servers :POctober 2, yes?
