@#$%ing troll companies.
If you live in Europe yes it day-month-year.In north America it's month-day-year :)
In the real world it goes Day - Month - YearIf you live in Europe yes it is Day-Month-YearIf you live in North America it's Month-Day-Year :)
Also, yes Blizzard is an American company thus goes by Month/Day/Year so 12.7 is December 7th which looking at mmo-champion this very moment pretty much means this date holds water. An "American company" that is majority owned by a French company, who do use the morecorrect Day/Month/Year.Admittedly Year/Month/Day is preferable to both.
In the real world it goes Day - Month - Year.Considering Blizz is the one releasing the game, I'm pretty sure which date format to use, and considering they're an American company, I think it's obvious which format they're going to go for. ;-)Yeah... Blizzard can use whatever format they want, but, that doesn't change the fact that in the real world it's 07/12 - which is why the rest of the world didn't notice the connection. =P
With all that date-denotation blabbering, you're totality missing the point.
Less than 12.7%?Maybe the statement is literal, as in."Will be released BY 12-7"Also, since someone pointed out that it could be 12.6..12.68 is less than 12.7.But it'd still be 12-7.:3
December 7th? That's my birthday. ;3Same :3
Not just dd-mm-yyyy in europe, but most of the world. america needs to fix their stuff.Couldn't we just use 3 letter codes for dates? Dec 07 or 07 Dec is wonderfully unambiguous and the sillies could keep their stupid format.(yay for cata btw)
Not just dd-mm-yyyy in europe, but most of the worst. america needs to fix their stuff.Would be nice if we also used the metric system. I hate having 2 sets of wrenches...
That is epic.It truly is.
At work, we use Year - Month - Day for organizational and filing reasons.Typically, in non-work life, I tend to use Month - Day - Year.
im predicting ALOT of poor final exam scores this year for college students! why release this a week before finals!
12th of July, I knew it.
In the real world it goes Day - Month - Yearno it doesn't. i replied on this date >> 10/1/10. october 1st, 2010. ppl do it differently i guess.
America should get with the rest of the world I agree, day-month-year.
This was from April. My guess is the "less than 12.7%" actually meant a target of before December 7. I can't recall, but back in April the sentiment was likely, "we hope to release it this year." While the Arena evidence is rather compelling, until it's announced, I will continue to assume 11/23.
has anyone thought that rather than the date of release itself - blizz are giving a hint that they are trying to aim for a date before the 7.12? it does say Less Than 12.7% implying that they are trying to ship it before that date?or blizz don't mean anything by it and those numbers are random or to get people to believe the date before they 'WoW' us with an earlier release?just a thought. not gonna get my hopes up until I have a physical copy in my hands.*edit spelling
December 7, 1941, was my mother's 18th birthday. Some birthday present. :)
