Blizzard just announced it... its official... December 7th is the release date.Indeed!Damn you Blizzard for telling us the date in this way and making us look like fools! D:...or something.
they maby lie about the 12/7 thing cous they laughed at the pucture so dont be so sure...
Hmm... if I dig on the boards I'll find where we actually dicussed that, but that didn't get by all of us =)Quite a few of us found the 12.7% to be a hint at the release date, though we weren't 100% sure if it meant July 12th or Dec 7th at the time.Well I tried to find the posts but Blizzard deleted them >.>
they maby lie about the 12/7 thing cous they laughed at the pucture so dont be so sure...No, the press release is official. We will never know if the "12.7%" alluded to the release or not, but either way 2010-DEC-7 is the real release date (unless it gets postponed for any reason).
Hey that's my birthday! This will be the best present ever! Even though ill buy it myself xD
4 days after my birthday, so I'll have enough money to buy it :>I really was like 'whaaaaaaaaaaaaat' when I read this :(
In the real world it goes Day - Month - YearIn America it goes Month - Day - Year, Blizzard is based in America. nt In Soviet Russia, it goes Day - Month - Year!
I can just imagine the pr guy who wrote that laughing at us while preparing that for release. :)Well played, blizzard.Edit: Also, Dec. 7th was the day that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, US.Probably not relevant, but also cataclysmic for those living there.Oh come on get over yourself. While whole Europe was being devastated and millions of innocent people were getting killed, Pearl Harbor was like the only American loss, which was avenged by a much much worse nuclear massacre in Japan anyway. I'm not saying it wasn't horrible there, but Americans should really stop making that a world-scale tragedy.--------Back on topic, if the release date turns out to be true, then that's the best trick ever played on us by Blizz :)I'm sure the victims, survivors, and family of said people of the Pearl Harbor attack would disagree with you about Pearl Harbor not being a big deal. The fact that you try to brush off that attack just because Europe was experiencing bigger losses at the time is disgusting. Casualties of violence (violence being a very large umbrella term in this case I suppose) are tragic, it doesn't matter how large of a scale it is. And for the record, I don't know ANY American that makes the Pearl Harbor attack out to be a world-scale tragedy. You need to go meet more Americans, clearly. It's very ignorant to assume that all Americans are like the loud few. It's okay though, you have my pity.Next you'll say the holocaust wasn't a big loss either (or didn't happen, even).Attempting to patronise someone during an argument rather than clearly explain your point of view shows a severe lack of rational thinking and no ability to argue whatsoever. As much as you've tried to twist what he said, he wasn't trying to say Pearl Harbour wasn't bad for those affected but in the grander scale of WWII the loses were far less than other countries suffered - not only those countries within Europe.I wasn't patronizing anybody, nor was I in the argument for even a moment. And I didn't twist a single thing he said. Thanks for defending his point of view that Pearl Harbor wasn't that big of a deal though. :]
Considering Blizz is the one releasing the game, I'm pretty sure which date format to use, and considering they're an American company, I think it's obvious which format they're going to go for. ;-)Bluddy yanks. Doing everything backwards and the wrong way round just to be... *Epic Teen Blonde Dramatic Gasp* - different.Yes, though - 07/12/2010 seems a little more of a realistic release date.*monocle*
