Judging by the amount of people claiming to have had a mount drop from the barrel already... I'ma assume they buffed the drop rate. o_o;Not that this is bad or anything... Mebbeh my priest'll finally get that goat...
A little off topic, but I just had to sign in to say how adorable the little female tauren mascot is in her brewfest outfit. It may undermine my reputation as a heartless undead warlock, but what can I do? Those big green eyes are too powerful!
yes u still get the feat of strength, i did it earlier today and got it
can a lv 54 go thur the the brew fest dongeon
One question, when the dark iron dwarfes apear and we "scare" them away they drop that quest thingy, is it possible to repeat the quest every 30 minutes or just once a day?
After checking: 78 is the minimum. Was just in a random dungeon with 2 77s and it said they must be a higher level to do coren direbrew. So, 78 is the minimum.
Pretty sure they changed it so you can't refund things starting with Midsummer. You won't be able to get everything in one go, but save Brew of the Month since it's not required for the Meta.
Also, before someone says "well they're busy with Cata", I'm going to point out that both of the last two expansions' patches hit about this same time of year - I got my first stein on 10-14-2008 when 3.0 hit - and working on TBC and WotLK didn't stop them from making the seasonal events work. They didn't fix the Dalaran Children's Week either, which was months ago and the first time Blizzard specifically declined to fix a seasonal event known to be broken - so no, it's not Cataclysm prep. Itemizing a reskinned stein and associated FoS isn't difficult at all from a programming point of view compared to making the event work with LFD.It's purely a case of indifference.
It is really rather distressing how Blizzard has seemingly given up on many events that players look forward to. I personally love Brewfest more than any of the other holidays, and to be greeted by a copy/paste of last year is almost insulting... as if we wouldn't notice new players receiving a feat of strength that says "2009" in it.Honestly, I can't see how re-coloring a new stein and adding a new feat of strength would have taken any longer than 20 minutes, and it would have saved themselves all the player grief being directed at them now. What's even sadder still is that Blizzard was going to remove the two quests, Catch the Wild Wolpertinger! and Pink Elekks On Parade (for mixed reasons), and yet they remain. So apparently even the changes they wanted were too much for them to handle. More and more I feel that Cataclysm will be the final nail in the coffin for WoW. Blizzard just isn't putting as much effort into this game as they used to, and it really shows. All those millions of $ a month has really gone to their heads.P.S. How much you want to bet Christmas will be a repeat, too?
A bit disappointed you can't do this on your alts anymore. All of my 80s completed Brewfest last year, and even some of my sub-80s have already completed it. Was hoping to be able to at least run my level 50 Priest and level 40 Shaman and Hunter through with a guild group for the Coren kill, title, and some trinkets for 80, but can't. :(

A bit of a 'n00b' question here: to get the overall achievement that awards the violet-proto drake, do we need to do every achievement in every world event, or just the ones which award us the titles etc? For example, in the Brewmaster event do I need to do all achievements including the one which involves getting drunk and dancing in Dalaran with Brewfest clothing, or can that be skipped as not part of the title achievement? Thanks :)
