It's nice to be having increased traffic, at least, as well as more efficiency, but alas, the good comes with the bad. Not that big a deal to me, though.
Grats on increased traffic wowhead :D
I like the "something something" aka "OK, I'm bored now".
Damn you, Malgayne.
I would say the same, but TheOnyx was a little, hmmm........ uh, ticked when the failed connections went up. Oh, there were a few choice words in there, a frying pan to the head and a few body shots to Malgayne (all in fun, mind you.), otherwise Onyx was the soul of innocence.
if only Blizzard was so in-depth with their explanations of failures...
My connection is crap so I didn't notice anything, good work though. :D
Wowhead will always be faster than the Armoury.
Thank you for the most professional and informative heads-up.No, really. Take notes, this is how it's done.
Nice one, and thanks for the awesomeness Wowhead :D
Good to know.Also gratz. =)
What stuff do you guys use in your web servers?mySql? Tomcat? open source clustering? distributed databases? I'm curious:)
So in other-words:Someone was storing pron in the database and causing everyone to slow down. Then Malgayne, being as coordinated as he is math-tastical, tripped over the "SURVAR" box and borked.
