eclipse bar does look nice
Lol, that boomkin has 32k HP and 33K mana......
I guess I might as well drop my Inscription profession now and pick up something else since as far as I can tell they're going to make Inscription completely freaking useless. Might as well make a vendor for each class and sell the glyphs for 20g each.
I really need to start making more time to play on the beta... This stuff is looking amazing. I really can't wait for Cataclysm to come out. Though, I hope blizz doesn't release it too early and not have the major bugs worked out.And agreed 100% with Garenzo on both counts.
They also changed the Worgen creation screen.... again
People with inscription can now charge an obscene amount of gold for each glyph now that they are learned like recipes.Time to stock up on cheap glyphs and sell them for a ton of gold later.
I can almost guarantee you will make more money come Cataclysm. I don't know about everybody else, but I am a completionist, at least on my main toon. If I don't have every single last glyph on my character it will tweak me the heck out o.0So yea, scribes can expect a boatload of business from me ~_^ especially if I start to tweak out about my alts having gray spaces in their glyph lists also.
For the free skill up books is it a universal book or by profession? Are they by tier of your profession like *book* of journeyman or just *book* ? Is there a maximum of times you can use them? Is there a book for inscription? What is the cost gain ration? Are the mats worth less than the early skill up mats or more. If its less why bother skilling up a profession if all you have to do is make a scribe to power level all your alts, friends, and guild mates. To answer the last question i would say Blizz wouldn't be the stupid to trivialize skilling up a profession, this means its more so you wont have any customers until the later skill ups. Of course this means you can charge more, but also means you'll have less buyers so you need to keep the price small to make a bulk profit. Then competition you will have dozens if not hundreds of these things on the Auction House at all times competing for prices.Sorry for wall of text but i'm a bit concerned for your optimism Garenzo. When i say *book* i mean name of the item.
lol Phillip J. Fry is from futurama
I find it interesting that Blizzard has started giving each class their own unique mechanic. They seem to have started this trend with the death knights and the runic power and runes. Now paladins are getting a Holy Power mechanic, hunters are getting focus, moonkins are getting this eclipse bar, priests are getting chakra/shadow orbs and warlocks are getting the new soul shard mechanic. I guess they're trying to differentiate each of the mana-using classes so it's not just plain old "use mana to cast spells".Obviously warriors, rogues, and shaman had their own unique mechanic before hand, but it seems that death knights started this trend with a new interesting mechanic other than "drain a bar/fill up a bar".So really the only class that doesn't have a unique mechanic is the mage, which is fine since they are the iconic magic-wielding class.
