w00t, moar infoz!
Ah good, I just need to link this post now when the newbs ask if any of the old world raids are being removed.
Finally something bout archeology
Archaeology sounds incredibly fun! Kind of reminds me of a quest in Netherstorm. Definitely a great idea for a secondary profession. Although I just know people are going to complain about how it doesn't have any actual meaning to one's dps or healing, what have you. But neither does achievements, and we definitely saw how that took off in popularity. I have just as much high hopes for achaeology.Keep up the great work Blizzard! And thank Wowhead for these updates. ^_^Edit: Spelling errors.
Finally something bout archeologyCouldn't agree more. Glad to see it's gonna start being tested soon, and I hope it works as well as they think it will. :3Edit: Made it flow better.
He said "Next Expansion" for Path of the TitansWhich major villain is left for killing? Kil'jaeden in its full form?Lich King again? (Bolvar)Another joker old-god that we don't know about yet? (like C'thun or Yogg-Saron)Emerald Dream thing? Will we go to another planet other than Azeroth ?Will there be any other RTS to Warcraft Universe anyways? after they spent soooo much lore in WoW...

Queen Aszhara is da next, with her Old God Patron at her back.baaah.. i don't feel like she is that major, for an expansion main-villain.. maybe it's just me :)and maybe maybe they'll leave the "major villain" template, and move to another type of event sets for a leading expansion concept. We'll see...

We'll see...Um, 10 thousand plus year old sorceress, equal to Archimonde and Mannoroth in power during War of the Ancients(so probably higher since her Old God upgrade), is the leader of the entire Naga race, and will probably end up dragging the entire Naz'jatar up out of the Maelstrom when she finally comes back to regular Azeroth.
There's also whatever is going on in the Emerald Dream at the moment where it's being corrupted. It seems like we're inevitably going to have to fight all of the dragon aspects. Maybe not as main baddies but just in general. There's also Aszhara as has been said. If that's not visited upon during the Cataclysm at all. Then there's still Sargeras, despite his current state of non-existence. When he comes into play we'll get to see the burning legion again, as well as Kil'jaedan.I'd say anything after Sargeras would really just be an ass-pull though.

Some nice info here but i'm still QQing about the tree being on cd :(.
Yeaah Archaeology sounds like fun! I was worried it would be another node skill and was not looking forward to competing for dig sites. I guess that could still be the case, it just depends on how many artifacts populate each dig site, and whether your survey tool will point to an artifact only you can "see" or not - they could have a player's survey tool "tag" an artifact when it's used so that only they can get it, or just phase the dig sites so they're unique to each player... either way I can't wait to try it out! And, just my 2 cents - as a non-druid - I think the Tree of Life form should continue to not have a cooldown. Nobody really pays attention to how someone looks while you're fighting, anyway... they're too busy watching health bars or debuff timers and staying out of fire! You show off your armor in town. I know they just revamped how bear and cat forms look, but if they're that concerned with players appreciating druid armor upgrades in a visual sense (and especially if that's their sole reason behind adding the cooldown), they should make it so armor changes how your forms look! ...they're trying to steer a little bit away from "no matter what druid you are you're always in some form, that isn't a human form" because we miss out on a lot of gameplay, for example you miss out on armor customization like the armor art, all that kind of stuff.Maybe it's just me, but I don't consider how my character looks to be "a lot of gameplay". Like I said - other than during battle, Druids aren't forced to be in their shapeshifted forms at all. Maybe instead, remove (or reduce) the mp cost for shifting so that Druids are more inclined to change between battles. If nothing else, i'm pretty sure every resto Druid out there would rather be in Tree form 24/7 and QQ about it, than to have that ability on a cooldown. I'm positive my Demo Warlock would rather be in demon form 24/7. ;)
ok so i under stand a lot of the stuff that is getting changed in cata but tree from seems like there thinking "oh well we put a lot of work into armor set design for druids and they never see it cuz their in a form all the time so lets put one on CD so they can see it". i think they should take this approach to worgen instead cuz atm worgen druids will never see their worgen form cuz of the same reason. but that's just me qqing cuz i love the worgen model and i think that other people see it my way i just think worgen druids will suck. just so you know rainemard i would love a perm demon form for locks maby take away all the extra abilities you get and just buff SP or something but thst could be for a different class like a demon hunter
Tuesday, 9th November. Calling it now.
Iam still mad about TOL!
Finally something about Archeology, I'm gonna test the stuffings out of the mechanics. :D
@RainemardI totally agree with you on the tree of life.I used to play a resto druid (now i play a holy priest since a year back) and I loved being a tree! It was what made healing fun, jumping around, throwing hots, doing the /cower emote and 100 other things. And sure we don't see the druids armor in dungeons and raids, but we see them in the big city's, and that makes us go "oooooh shiny"! That adds to the mystery that are Druids.I play in a small social guild with real life friends and co-workers and one of our druids says she'll stop playing resto and go moonkin/feral instead of her current moonkin/resto.And I would probably have done the same had I still played my druid. The tree adds to the diversity amongst us healers, I love seeing a tree in the raid, I don't want to see some night elf or worgen switching in and out of it while healing...Please Blizzard, reconsider!
Kramgo, Your 100% right! Im a resto Druid right now, and finaly i got Tree form, im never in Caster (tauren) Form, Cuz the armor look pretty much rediculess, and in that Body, i hate Tauren, but love druids. Plzz Blizz, dont force me to be a stupid walking Cow in a Clown Outfit!Edit: Tree form /dance FTW
