Northrend, EK and Kalimdor ones are nifty, but OL is plain and sucky. Kael and Illidan was way much cooler.
... Why does Varian always stand like that in pictures? Is that the only pose he knows?"Yah, yah, get my good side."Haters gotta hate. You do realize that most of faction leader images are more or less exactly the same as the ones used for the 5 / 15 Year Anniversary BattleCry Mosaic? To elaborate, he always stands like that because it's the same image you've probably seen before.Great images overall. Garrosh and Tirion look amazing.
I really like the fact that Magni is (finally!) making an appearance in his shiny-ish black and gold armour, worthy of a king.I dislike the Northrend loading screen, because, since the game is currently pointing more towards new players, it would be too much of a confusion to portray Bolvar as the LK when people have barely seen the "old LK". Besides, Bolva'rs pose is comical, rather than serious.Outland is so-so, I appreciate the little spotlight on more memorable characters, but Illidan is more of a defining character in Outland than Maiev and Akama (especially given that not many people, new players even less will know who those two are)Lor'themar Teron is, at long last, getting a unique appearance!Sylvanas, after that massive model change, truly DESERVES to be on a loading screen.Garrosh, well, is Garrosh, all about appearance and recklessness... so, he's quite fitting for a loading screen, granted that he has the new model, even!Velen seems somewhat more austere than what he really is, none-the-less he truly seems like a respectable character. It's about time Tyrande was in a loading screen as well! Same goes for Vol'jin!SPOILERSKind of a shame they decided to finally give King Magni a noble appearance in a loading screen when he's getting transformed into stone this time around... (Pun at free will, readers)

Bolvar's pose is comical, rather than serious. That's actually the one I liked the most... looks more like he's in pain from his to say the least severe burn damages to me. :-P
I liked all but Outland's.Almost nobody knows who those two are - and the quests that mostly involve them are in Shadowmoon Valley/BT... which nobody goes to as you can hit 68 before Netherstorm. Newer players will have an issue relating them to OL.
As much as I liked Keal'thas, Illidan, and Arthas, I kinda see what Blizz is going with with the new peoples. Meiv and Akama were the ones who we helped kill illidan and "liberate" Outlands. Bolvar took the responsibility of being the Lich King and keeping relative peace. I think they're just trying to show our achievements. Hey, we conquered Outlands and Northrend! No more baddes, cuz they dead! (Cept for keal'thas, of course).P.S. I would like a picture of Bolvar, just not that picture of Bolvar.P.S.S http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/6830/1281751037099.jpgRelevent to your interests?lolz
So, no one noticed that Magni is in the loading screen for EK even though he's frozen in stone in Cata? Pretty sure that means that it's not permanent, and that he will be unfrozen in this expansion (probably near the end).If so, I hope that means that the council won't go away, that they'll act as advisers or something. Dwarven lore is interesting me now that we have all three clans front-and-center.

Dwarven lore is interesting me now that we have all three clans front-and-center.Cairne is also on one of them... :-PMy guess is that they just want to show off the faction leaders, dead or not. Maybe we'll be able to witness their deaths in the pre-release event or in a cutscene?
Pretty much all zones now have maps in the beta, including both STV zones, Silithis, Un'goro, Loch Modan, etc. The only exceptions are Twilight Highlands, Wintersping (has a map but only shows mountains), and Uldum.
I really like them. It's about time they made some changes to the load screens.
They all look nice, although I'm a bit hesitant with Northrends. They should keep Northrends loading screen as it is, new players would be like "why's he all flamey..."
I like them all, but I do think that Outland could be MUCH more relevant to people that don't know much about the characters. Perhaps they could put in A'dol, for example!
Kalimdor: Garrosh, the goblin, Tyrande and Velen look great. Is that Baine?I was in doubt too. That Tauren is the same depicted in the Battlecry mosaic, and in the best of my knowledge is in fact Cairne, which can be seem clearly by how old he looks (and Baine is young).Well, Blizzard is surely confusing us. Cairne is in the loading screen, he appeared in Blizz panel helping Thrall, but again, Go'el was in his old armor, and not on the Earthen Ring garbs, on the picture...Indeed confusing...In time: Garrosh looks totally kick-ass, instead of the moron his game model appears to be. Very cool that they show us the Black Temple is in the hands of the resistance now, and that Bolvar is holding the scourge, at the loading screens. Give us a time-passing sensation.
Very cool, really, amazing awesome!
I'm a bit confused about why they decided to use random goblin & worgen rogues rather than new art of their actual faction leaders. All the others on the pictures are of the leaders after all... well, except the troll I guess. Doesn't look an awful lot like Vol'jin to me.
Lor'themar Theron is like ''Duh it stinks here I mean i am between a dog and a corpse...''
tyrande looks hawt, and scary at the same time :D haha all of these are awesome! Blizzard outdid themselves this time.
The goblin is Trade-Prince Gallywix, I believe.
The goblin is Trade-Prince Gallywix, I believe.Just a random rogue from the early Cataclysm website. Gallywix doesn't look one bit like that and isn't any ingame class. :-)
