Haha, nice report.I will surely play this game.Btw, about the character customiser, is there the following cloth items: Crocodile Dundee Hat, Cowboy-style jacket and cowboy boots? And anybody have an extra Key?
Where is the ear customization?
Where is the ear customization?:|
Ear customization would lead to elves. Elves would then pillage and plunder the game.So yes, ear customization is a must.Thank you for devoting this one to game play only, not sure if I will play but it looks like a good ride.
Satan loves you!
Can you adjust the voice chat volume independently of the game sounds volume? I thought it was a little hard to hear the friend when he was discussing advancement in the game with the firefight going on in the background. Game seems cool, but I've always considered MMOs and FPSs to be very different styles of gameplay.

I think it's district chat, area chat, team chat... something like that
I have this "Malgayne pwnz" tribal henna tattoo on my left rump-cheek (near the crease)Because you work in the video game profession, you are entitled to be idiotic and unprofessional. Not to mention how hilarious this is. You got a tattoo? Wow. I fell out of my chair. I was expecting something mildly enlightening, but instead, when I heard you got a Malgayne tattoo, I laughed until I threw up.This is grade A entertainment, gentlemen.
So 1-10 how good is the game so far? How good would it be if they fixed any of the big problems like how the F key controls nearly everything?
At 6:03 did anyone else notice the Rick Roll music when he ran over the person?
At 6:03 did anyone else notice the Rick Roll music when he ran over the person?yup in a previous video he stated that upon killing an enemy it will play an audio track chosen by you in other words you can rick'roll someone upon their death
MikeB is the man.
So 1-10 how good is the game so far? How good would it be if they fixed any of the big problems like how the F key controls nearly everything?I would say its 7 right now and it could be, for this type of game, a 10 if they work on it and bring out the chaos districts and such that they've promised. I would say 6/10 but there have been moments in this game that have left me laughing so hard with a few others that we lose a mission, or something truly awesome unfolds before you. The reasons this game is not good right now:-hacking. I have yet to run into ANY hackers in my 60+ hours of action time but apparently they are around.-Teaming up. If you don't have friends going into it it might take you a good 20 hours or more to find those that you will want to play with every day. Part of it is that theres a very large 'newb' population that simply doesn't know what to do. The bad part is some people are just terrible decision makers. If i'm spraying something and we have another place to spray down the alley you really pray that your friend won't stand behind you looking pretty and will actually go get it.-Upgrades. If you wanted you could go buy $100 worth of the 'rtw points' then buy the best weapons and vehicles in the game. The only thing stopping you is that you'll have to play for a good 30+ hours to be able to use them(you have to have high enough rating which can be compared to levels but much less seen. I think i'm at a rating of 140 which is pretty high considering i think 250 is highest needed for things currently). Though upgrades can imbalance a mission you probably won't play against many people like this until your decent yourself and have a group that can outsmart them. -Technical Problems. Some people have had no problems but people like me have experienced crashing and also stuttering. That, and i sometimes don't render everything quick enough. I feel bad speeding down a street trying not to get me and my 3 passengers killed when i take a corner and i hit a 3 foot wall that hadn't rendered until i hit it. Aside from that its an amazingly fun game. My and a friend with a SHAW had to keep our VIP friend from dying 5 times and killing the enemy team 15 times(they had a pool of 15 lives, not each) in the process. We found a very interesting way to do this. Me and my friend got on a rooftop(on a police station no less) and went to the edge with our SHAWs(100 ammo clips and is a tank buster of a weapon just short of a rocket launcher) and let our VIP stay down below. He got in a car and drove a few blocks away until he was getting chased by all of our opposition. He turns around speeds past us as we make it RAIN on them. They didn't have to time to get out of their vehicles before they all got blasted. It took them 3 rounds to realize they just needed one of theirs to come up the ladder and kill us since the SHAWs aren't very good anti-personnel especially compared to the sub machine gun. If money is tight i would wait a month or so to buy this game to see if you like it. If you are interested in it and it won't set you back financially at all then jump in. On a side note i already paid for my first full month of unlimited time and i spent ZERO dollars on it because in my 50 hours of play time i had the money to buy decent guns(a sniper, sub machine gun, shotgun, ak-47, SHAW, and a few secondary weapons), two good cars, huge amounts of ammo and STILL enoguh money to trade for RTW points at the AH to buy a months worth of game time.
Sorry for the off-topic post heh, but...@tyrentofthought:That was a very good summary of this game. Have ever had any considerations of writing a video game review on this game, or any other game for that matter?I made a thread about it, if you're interested. yay advertising! :DJust putting that out there. ;)
