I'm looking forward to seeing what Blizzard can do to overcome my severe disappointment over the removal of half the crap I was looking forward to.
Wow, lots of changes! I'm somewhat disappointed to see some things I was looking forward to going away, but I can see why they're doing it.Oh...and as a Glyph salesman, I really really hope they don't make them permanent! /greedy
Well, I'm disappointed in the loss of the PotT, but I gotta trust them if they say they haven't been able to find a way to do it that's any better then a more indepth glyph system.I'm glad guild currency is going - that's all ready too confusing with the insane numbers of currencies we have cooking in this game. The raid lockout change is fantastic. With the current weekly raid, we have a big hiccup where if it's FL or XT, then we can't go back and work on U10 Hard Modes, because everyone's saved. Very annoying. This would open it up much more. One of my worries was everyone getting crushed into a few cities' AH. To have a few AH in a City, much like how we have had two banks in Shatt and Dal is wonderful. Now how about tele portals and put those gold-thieving mages out of business?
Looking forward to this archeology prof. as well as medium glyphs.Orgrimmar looks pretty badass too! Cant wait! For The Horde!
That is a lot of information to take in. I am glad they scrapped some of those ideas though. There's still going to be a lot to do so I'm not worried.
3k Quests? pffft yeah, because they're revamping the ENTIRE WORLD. lol
Wow thats sucks about Path of the titans system. Love everything else
I'm actually happy with a lot of stuff that is going away. The path of the titans was kind of cool but seemed really impossible to balance and I was afraid of classes getting nerfed because they could take a certain path. I am also still wary about the guild advancement but it seems a little less likely to cause extra guild drama in this form.
Also that 10,000 quests seems low - according to my stats I have compelted 6700 by myself. Even if that includes the 3200 dalies I've done according to my stats, that's still 3500 quests. We have at least 4 loremasters in my guild, so I have to think 10,000 will be a cakewalk.Maybe that's a progressive? 10k, 15K, 25k, 50k?
Can has nao?
Well, I'm disappointed in the loss of the PotT, but I gotta trust them if they say they haven't been able to find a way to do it that's any better then a more indepth glyph system. Why not make it the new glyph system? They're pretty much saying "we've got glyphs now, PotT would have been a deeper version of glyphs. We decided to go with the shallow glyphs we currently have."
I am disappointed at the loss of Path of the Titans, but won't deny the Glyph system seemed rather lacking. Guild talents is a disappointing but extremely understandable loss as well.
It's going to be a HUGE pita to have to buy all new heirloom past 80... I think everything that has already been purchased should be exchangeable for the new stuff. I know I can't be the only one out there with a BOA set for each armor class.
With the removal of Path of the Titans and Guild Talents it also reduced Archeology, almost seems like Activision made them scrap it so the whole thing could shoved out for 2010. I mean I really do not understand or really buy their reasoning for Path of the Titans, guild talents I somewhat understand but geeze PotT was one of the huge things of this expansion. Also deadmines heroic and shadowfang keep heroic not ready at launch, seriously its two duegons and they only did five levels this time, why couldn't they possibly get them done in time. This just sounds more and more like rush this thing out intime for Xmas.

I know i'd much rather keep my ICC gear than equip mediocre gear for 10% more exp.
