Before the complaining starts, let me be the first to say that from my own experience, Blizzard has usually been very good at compensating for loss of available playtime. Sometimes I would log into my account and see extra hours and even days added free-of-charge under my payment history because of servers being down or something of that nature.
Extra playtime would be cool.
Just hope us EU guys get some free time as well once the update reaches us.
Can't wait for the events.
Well. There are three extended comments about maintenance longevity and possible complains, and none of the complains.<3 Wowhead.P.S. 24 hours? I has 2 alchemysts, I lose mai epic geeeemz!11
It might just be me but I don't interpret that message from Blizz as being a 24 hour maintenance.....Its just saying your realm is being patched if its not listed.....and going to be down during the regular maintenance window. All other servers will be up and ready for play during tuesday maint.Thoughts?
"24-Hour maintenance this Tuesday for upgrades for the upcoming expansion." YAY, maybe we will get Catclysm before Summerbreak is over=D
I am thinking that the servers listed need a hardware upgrade. thats why its gonna take 24 hrs.
They are probably changing the water early... Have you guys seen the Cata water?
I want that clock.
Maybe not being able to play at all until Thursday will come in handy....
oh my god, i am going to die, what to do for when my battlegroup goes down...hmmmmm
Hopefully they'll do the same to such servers as Zenedar EU when the expansion rolls around. It can hardly handle itself now let alone if so many people join and rejoin.
Is it likely that the realms not listed there will go down for the 24 hour maintenance at a later date?I haven't compiled a full list of the available realms, so I'm not even sure how many of the realms are listed here and how many aren't. But I do know that my primary realm (Madoran) isn't listed. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Or just a thing.
