How original.Can't they throw in a Search and Destroy type map?
Anybody have more informations about what the map will look like? And does horde/alliance will switch side once a while if terrain is no symetric? To prevent any advantage like AV?
/facepalmThe worst part is that Blizzard has no excuse for this kind of lack of creativity. They have an incredible resource of tens of thousands of map-based multiplayer ideas from their Starcraft and Warcraft 3 mapmaking community, most of which could easily be adapted for WoW play. No one is more of a Blizzard fanboy than me, but I think whoever they have in charge of WoW battlegrounds should probably be excused from his duties.

It's more like WSG v2.0. The description seems to point to there being quite a bit more going on than just riding across a field and charging up a ramp to the flag room. That being said, I do think it could use a smidgen more originality - for instance, perhaps being able to ^&*!y-trap the bridge over the river, summoning NPC forces to guard the bridge for you, or perhaps a way to block off certain entrances to the bases.
