Excited about everything. But this. . .
Well, all seems very interesting.I wonder what kind of vanity pet the Enchanter will make. And at least, craft able bows crossbows and fist weapons.I have a question about the new minerals... What I can understand from the post, Obsidian=Cobalt, Elementium=Saronite and Pyrite=Titanium?
"We didn't feel like we were getting much flexibility from specializations, so they have been removed for all three of these professions. The intent was to help people diversify their profession to feel different from that of other players, but through other professions we've found systems that work better to this end, such as simply making recipes available that you can earn over time."Well here was my problem with specializations. especially with blacksmithing. All of the high end things you could make up thru the rare drops in WotLK were bind on pick up. which meant that when you made it. it was soul bound. For a leveling blacksmith that was jank for you cause you have all of these patterns that you could make for your mates and well none of them you can give to them it sucked..... there was no point in specializing in anything. I am now glad that they will fix this situation in CAT.
Oh man, if Engineering vanity pets are BoP I will probably rage. I leveled engineering (before I leveled JCing for real) to get the two old pets -literally- days before they made them BoE.
i hope they upgrade my parachute and rocketboots... i love those things.. and MORE BoP pets and mounts for engineers please!
upon reading Engineering and First Aid....AMAGAWD!
GIVE ME GLYPH OF DETECT TRAPS A.K.A. GLYPH OF SWIRLY BALL.I hope the capital letters worked.maybe "Glyph of Detect Traps" could make it an active ability that makes traps sparkle like lootable items for a few seconds on a minute cooldown....and it makes the Swirly Ball animation.
Of course, the biggest profession change will be the inevitable change of profession after being fired 11 days after Cataclysm's launch.
I just **** a little :P
I didn't spot the mechanical bows part in engineering.OMG>
Loving all the changes, just not sure where I stand on the armor crafting professions.Mostly, when I spend time making an item while levelling a prof, I really dig making something I can use. In this case, for a lot of items, I'd have to make 5 or more to get desired stats. Granted, maybe Blizzard is intending use to trade more on the AH to get said stats, and sell off the stats that are useless to our particular class/tree.I just remember the random stat items selling for horribly inflated prices for the desired stats. Anyone remember Aquamarine Signet? We'll see what happens. Still beyond excited for the xpac.
I love it all so far. I persoanlly think it would be awesome if you could make a more powerful version of the Compact Harvest Reaper Compact Harvest Reaper Kit, just an awesome little buddy to help you fight... or talk to for a bit lol :P
