What about Rune Strike? It says removing all "on next attack" so..?
I might actually play a Warrior now. I couldn't ever get past the early levels because I couldn't take being Rage-starved.One thing I am interested in: "All “on next swing” attacks in Cataclysm are being removed." Is that for all classes, or only for Warriors? If so, DKs will be affected some as well, since Rune Strike is currently an "on next swing" attack, and is commonly macroed in with the standard attack rotation spells to ensure that it triggers every time it is available.Heh, I didn't get this post in before I hit a brief period of Wowhead maintenance, and sigurd beat me to it. ;)
I'm really excited about this change. I love my warrior but I can't stand being rage starved. I hope this gets done right and sticks.
I'm split on this change. It's gonna mess up Unrelenting Assault builds, but I like the idea of HS being a instant cast.One question: How is the glyph of revenge gonna play out in this situation? Will it be as if you had the minimum rage requirement of the maximum rage cap?
and now let's see how many people willl "rage" over this change XD ....... you get it? rage about it...... come on.........being serious now..... I'm concerned about what this will implicate for DK's and their runic power since that works so similary to rage, not to mention our version of heroic strike (rune strike)that skill is extremely usefull for building and maintaining aggro as a tank, and to activate the proc of my sigil to gain extra dodge, I hope they don't ruin it when they remove "All" of the "on next" atacks.
I don't understand why dps doesn't have to manage their resources (note the changes to hunters, ret pallys, and enh shamans), but tanks do. At high gear levels, we have to focus more on what we're doing but they don't? I don't see why this has to be so drastic.Also, I like on next swing. Without it, it'll seem like I'm wasting a gcd that would be better used on something else.
From what I've read, I'm excited for this change. And this is coming from someone who's been playing warriors since launch. Hurry up, Cataclysm!

I'm going to miss the "on next swing" attacks. I think making them instant, just to tweak resource management, is dumb. Hopefully they'll at least have the sense to take them off the GCD. Something like old-style Judgement...
As a well geared into 80 Druid tank, I never even had to learn what rage management was. Leveled up as a cat, and then now we get sooo many ways to generate rage, that I never even run out. (Though being raged starved on a heroic random boss happens a lot...) This can finally bring some extra skill to the class to be played, and weed out some of the wannabe tanks. Nice :)
