This sounds like a great change. It should simplify things quite a bit.
It sure sounds like a new game. I am excited.
The only thing I 100% approve of is this blurb:"Many lower-level items with nonsensical combinations of stats, such as Agility and Spirit, will be changed. We're also updating quest rewards, trade skills, and loot drops to support better itemization for class builds that weren't widely available or used prior to The Burning Crusade (such as Balance druids)."Everything else I have pretty mixed feelings about. It should greatly prevent people who have no idea what they're doing from gearing completely wrong though. And here I thought the game was dumbed down in the 2.4 era.
So that means the 'Did Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?' Achievement and the Master of Arms Achievement are becoming Feats of Strength?
It's going to be interesting to see how tanks are going to work with all of the changes to mitigation
Pretty much the only change I like is the weapon skill change...
With weapon skill going away... will that make the Achievement go away, or maybe it will become a "Feat-of-Strength" legacy...?edit... wow, everyone's on the same idea
The idea of nerfing plate so it doesn't sound good. Sounds like bear druids are gonna be the only viabe tanks for a patch or two till blizz finds out they effed up.
I like the Reforging one.
Liking the fact that they're changing haste to ''let people do more stuff''
so tanks don't have to worry about getting to a number capable of tanking correctly. how is that a good thing? taking away stuff like that just seems like its going down the wrong path. also, why are they trying to make this game even more simplified? in the MMO genera this game is by leaps and bounds one of, if not THE simplest and least complicated game. this whole "dumbing down" process seems to be a dumb idea, but thats my opinion. my last complaint for the day because im short on time, even though not my last complaint about the changes, no more hunter mana? is there gonna be a some sort of rune/energy/rage in place? or are you just giving hunters a free action system, which is a horrible idea if so. some elaboration on these changes will be nice.
