Is it that time already?I'm getting old...
Ah, memories of attempting to three-man WotLK dungeons to get our elders...Can't believe a year has gone by already.
The real question, and the only thing I care about: Are the Lunar Dumplings permanent this year, or are they limited to the event like every other food?
The real question, and the only thing I care about: Are the Lunar Dumplings permanent this year, or are they limited to the event like every other food?Like last year, they are permanent. I had a ton of them stocked up on my pally from last year.
I think the way the table is set up is win. I love it. Happy cheating elderly citizens!
This is the last achievement I need to complete my Meta. Last year I started the event, but got lazy and quit halfway through. It was only after the event was over that I decided to grind out the other holidays for the purple drake.Starting to curse my laziness, but it least the grind is finally over come Sunday.
Thanks WowHead, this guide rocks! For those of you with the TomTom mod, I have the locations listed at the bottom of the comments in Coin of Ancestry. Hope it helps!Edit by MasterOfDisguise: Excessive bold removed.
Helpful information, especially when you show the location of elders.Lunar is my favorite festival.
Is it just me, or is this one of the easiest sets of holiday achievements that is also the longest holiday period? You have to visit all 75 elders to get those achieves, which also gets you more than the 50 coins you need, which you can easily spend on all the clothing for the dress/pantsuit. Just shoot off some rockets and firecrackers, join in on an Omen kill, and you're done.Oh and wowhead guides rock, thx!
A good way of leaving after honoring an opposing faction's elder is to use your scroll. You will need to drop combat to do so.
I was looking forward to honouring my last elder that I missed last year to get my meta. Unfortunately, sometime in the last month, Blizzard have reset my "Elders of the Dungeons" achievement so I have to go and honour them all again, despite completing the quests previously. I didn't have to do this for Trick or Treat in Outland when i hadn't done them all.
Yeah I was curious as to why Blizzard reset the incomplete achievements this time around.
It's weird because my partial completion was intact up until about a month ago when I checked which one I had missed. I could understand if it was reset at the same time as the great Trick or Treat reset for Hallows End but this one was just out of the blue.
So how much of this can be done for my low level (30-40) characters? It sounds like they'll be able to get to Moonglade, and honor a few elders, but it doesn't sound like Omen will be feasible.Sound about right?
You don't have to kill Omen, simply walk into his corpse to get a buff.
What's the min level to enter the dungeons in Northrend? I seem to remember bribing people to enter the one by Eck was rife last year....
The one in Gundrak requires you to visit Eck's room which is only available on heroic, thus requiring level 80.
The one in Gundrak requires you to visit Eck's room which is only available on heroic, thus requiring level 80.The Elder is now just behind the second boss, so can be honoured in normal difficulty.
Can you still farm the elders if you completed it last year? Like last year we got to double dip even if we finished the guys once, because people complained they honoured people before the achievements were recording.
