AWESOME! Time to get some new phat lewt ;3
You should put in that by visiting Bronzebeard if your Alliance OR Saurfang if your Horde you can find out the date
So the Lich King will be released February 2?Wow,that's one day after my birthday lol
So if the Lich king is being released in February, that means that we will either have another major content patch, or we will see Cata in late spring/early summer.
Uhm, I may be wrong but as far as I can see the blue confirms opening of the Crimson Halls in 2 weeks. Not that there will be Valithria Dreamwalker, Sindragosa and The Lich King available in another 2 weeks after that.
Thanks for the birthday gift bliz!.. Now lets just hope they drop something awsome so I got 2x the gifts!
No, but it's likely. Uniformity is always preferred :)
People might say this is too fast. Which is what I was thinking at first. But once everything is released, people aren't just going to say, "Okay what is next?" The people who weren't capable of downing Putricide or the next set of bosses will still be working on these bosses, and the people who have cleared it all will start working on Heroics. So there needs to be a space of time for people to get the gear they want (hopefully-good luck!) in that time frame and also time to learn and down the Heroic versions of 10 and 25 man.And after it's all said and done with the Lich King defeated, people will either A) take a short break before Cataclysm comes out, or B) Keep farming ICC.I remember Blizzard stating they wanted Cataclysm to be out before the next BlizzCon. So I'm sure the wait wont be for too long. But they've got to give the people doing ICC enough time to feel accomplished with their gear they earned.Edit: I also wanted to point out the scaling difficulty of the encounters. Just because these first two wings are getting stomped pretty quickly, I think the next encounters will be even tougher, requiring more time before Cataclysm. Putricide is pretty tough for my guild at the moment, but I'm sure we'll down him soon enough. I think Blizzard is proving they still have ideas for challenging encounters.
Yeah they don't have enough content to keep us busy into 2011, or even late 2010 in my opinion, unless they plan on coming out with another content set after the Lich King. Granted it could take a few months for a decent portion of the player base to see the Lich King encounter through to it's conclusion, but I can't see them pushing it much past mid summer before they start really pushing the storyline into Cataclysm. I've said since the announcement that I felt Cataclysm was going to come out in mid 2010...
Man! His defeat is gonna be interestingI wonder how difficult he'll be.
So those lazy dwarves finaly moved their asses? They downed the current time from 4 weeks to 2 weeks.
Yea! Hope my guild take into account its my birthday, so i should get any phat lewtz that i can use >:D
