The vent vs teamspeak discussion always amuses me. The only difference is features and interface, not sound quality. That is determined by the codex, which are interchangeable in both programs.
I'm tempted, but if its full version is a pay-to-use, I won't even bother installing its beta.
Has nothing to do with being a "fanboy". I've used both ventrilo and teamspeak at different points, ventrilo just has better sound quality. I don't think that something would focus on gimmicks and such if it didn't have inferior sound quality - otherwise, they could just put it out already, and then later add all the gimmicky type stuff later.
anyone still using this product? my user name is darkwolf33333 Shoot me an invite I would like to see if they implemented any in game features for wow yet.
If you have a hard on for sound then this might be for you. If you care less about it then stick to ventrillo. P.S Wish there was a way to intergrate Ventrilo with WOW so that I can see who is talking in vent w/o having to Alt-Tab.
I do not understand one thing about Axon payment fuss: what are people whining about, if Dolby is asking a single player to pay $19.99 for a year for another 49 players to enjoy all the subscribers' benefits, comparing to the $10-15 a month for 50-slot Ventrilo or TS2/3 server?
