Ultimately the best solution for people that really want gear not of there armor class is to get their own group going on their local realm using /invite and set the rules yourself, or even join a guild or something. This new system is designed to be as neutral as possible so that Bliz doesn't have to have their GMs hammered by players complaining of ninja-looters and 'unfairness' because of grief caused by the aforementioned issues. Honestly, ya'll need to just chill out :). Come Catacylsm, the stats and such are gonna do another paradigm shift just like in BC and WotLK, and we'll have to relearn what gear will work best all over again. Here's a clue though: All the gear you have now is gonna convert to the new system. That 'trashy' healadin plate may be bad now, but it just might be BiS pretty soon. Just have to wait and see.
One thing I really love about this is, that those well geared raiders who usually never touches anything but the daily hc guild run, maybe would start pugging. I like pugs, as you get to know new people, but I hate when that blood dk in his blues thinks he can tank a hc in frost presence. Or that hunter over there, who needed a Book of Glyph Mastery for his cousin, but it gets really annoying when the hunter and the dk starts talking greek...If you could join the pugger with your mate and have a good time, then i would deffo be lovin' the PUG.
while on the PTR I noticed that if you died, released, and ran back, zoning out would land you at the entrance of the dungeon rather than the location you teleported from. has this been fixed? and if so what if you actually wanted to end up at the dungeon entrance, for example to turn in the H OK quest or to show a lost player where the entrance is
agree with that one, if u start a group and want a ranged dps but the system throws in a ret pally cause his gear or achievements are better, how do we argue that decision, keep kicking them till we get what we want, will we even have that option to kick someone from groups anymore?
There will be a 'vote kick' system whereby all other 4 members of a group would have to agree to kick one mrmber oit. Then you will be asked if you want to stay in the instance and continue or leave. If you continue, the system will find you another player. If you want to controll who/what classes are in your group, you can still get together first and join the system as a group.
the difference between JCs/Inscr and Ench is that while enchanters get both the crafting(?) abilities and the way of gathering mats, JCs/Inscr like any other crafting profession either have to take a gatherer one s their second for the mats or forced to buy them off the AH. Meanwhile ench have them both in one nice package and a free proff of their choosing. At least that is why I believe this to be fair for Ench as opposed to the other once.
Gonna love the LFPug/crossrealm team. Last thing we need now is "LF Achivement" groups....and ways to get group formed...(still workin on my sham's Protodrake, pain finding team for Occ, let alone Achivement group for it), cause some fights also require odd group setups (Like 2 tanks for Guldrak's last boss).Love the stone restriction and insta-port. Wish it was up for Halloween, but it'll be ready for next holiday boss hopefully, as well as let you do faction-opposite instances easier (have any idea how many times ive corpse-hopped to RFC on my lowlv Allys to get that awesome cloth bracer?)Unsure how the Experianced/inexperiance thing will work. Will it check gearscores, achivements, wha? Not to be mean to new 80s, but id hate getting put in a group for HToC or another hard heroic with a new 80 in all greens, no matter what roll that person is doing....like a non-capped tank (b4 cata's change to that) or a Dps who misses more then hits.Loot changes im not sure about...glad no more non-casters will roll on caster gear....but what about people who want gear for offspec, or mainspec roll not in gearLv, like holy pallies? Think it sould be made Need (Main Spec)> Need (offspec/off armortype)>greed>DE mats
well i like all the stuff but the rolling restriction because i play a warrior, and if im running something with a lot of SP gear droping im most likely not getting any blues to vender to pay for these messups thats going to happen with this new LFG thing and if its taking a look at your gear so u cant greed on sp stuff if your a war they should be looking and seeing if the gear that drop is an upgrade for a person and if not then let everybody greed on it because u know there is always going to be somebody who can use a item and they would most likely greed it just because they can then vender the item
