My earliest memory of the game, I started very late in Burning crusade's life. I'm talking only a few months to go before lich king. Anyway, Got a brand new laptop, suddenly I hear "I'm Mr. T!" I look over at my TV. "And I'm a night elf mohawk!" Since I had a brand new computer, I thought "Ooh, I wonder if I could play that..." Downloaded the trial client, made a trial account, and started playing. Character creation came up, I looked through the available races...Now I'm an avid player of RPGs, and I typically fashion my characters after myself, so I went with a human warrior (Sword and shield guys were always my favorite). Named him Koholint, after a zelda game, and logged in. I was awed over my 10 free days of playing. The world was huge, everything was amazing. No limits. I could jump around, I could kill things, I could swim. I bought the full game and burning crusade shortly after my trial ended, and been playing since :)
My wife let me play a little on her computer when she first got WoW. I nearly never let her back on. I thought it was just so huge and amazing. We saved a lone druid fighting furlbogs in Ashenvale and we became friends with him. I now run dungeons with that druid and still talk about that "incident."

My first memories are from back when i quested as a NE in teldrassil, and i remember coming to darnassus thinking how cool it was and all. One of the funniest moments (looking back) was probably when i found the portal to Blackfathom Deeps with a friend, and i had no idea what it was. I thought it was some kind of bonus level like the ones you know from Super Mario and other games like that. And i was really impressed that the mobs had these dragons around their names...I also remember seing a dwarf questing in teldrassil when i was a lowbie, i asked him how he got there and he said "its a effort". He was the first dwarf i'd ever seen, so at that moment i was like his biggest fan lol. I also didn't get the auction house, i thought it was a thing that players rarely used, but if you got some junk that you couldnt use for yourself you would occasionally put it there. Didn't imagine it was something you actually had to visit several times in a day. Oh yeah and i remember being really, and i mean really proud when i earned my first gold lolz... i thought it was alot.
must ask even if it makes me a it of a noob, i played since beta ended but i gotta tell you i am not sure then the anniversary date is?I guess it was on onyxia patch but gotta get this question answer even if it makes me stand in a corner with a hat on saying dumbass in class? My most epic wow memory gotta be dun morogh, i just started a paladin a hour or so then game was realised and i was just amazed over all choices, all quest and the whole area. talking to other npc and all, it really felt epic seeing it all and you really listen on all threat that was gonna take out azeroth. another good memory is then you was doing the paladin quest, you ran all over the whole for a weapon who at that time felt like an epic achievement getting. My first mc day, wow that was some stuff. We came to lucifron and wiped all night on him. But the feeling was worth it, it was pure epic. The day i first saw ragnaros, nothing scared the @#$% out of me more than seeing a giant firelord coming up on the lava and you really thought "oh $%^&". Closest thing i seen yet is supremus but he could not give me that feeling.
My first memory when playing wow has to be all the way back to the end of november 2005. Some of my friends at school were playing World of Warcraft since the release but I didn't seem to like it until I saw them doing an instance, well I think it was Blackrock Depths. (I followed the whole instance which back then took alot of time). Then they convinced me to play it ay swell and well that's what I've done untill this day ;). Although my friends back then don't play World of Warcraft anymore I do still play World of Warcraft. The hunter I made back in 2005 currently is level 72 or something but I remember having to ask where to buy arrows :P. One other thing way back then I remember is wanting to tame a harpie which sadly didn't work ;).Well thats what i can remember back then ;) I probably will play World of Warcraft for like 4 years (with some small breaks) when World of Warcraft has its 5th aniversary ;).I hope there may come some more years although things with a beginning also have an end ;)Greetz from Dragonskull1111 ;)
My first memory was... in 2005 i think... July. When i had a level 6 tauren warrior. I heard so much about orgrimmar being the capitals capital so i went there and was AMAZED on it ^^ i was impressed by it and then i walked around with Tomahawk and a off-hand frill down to RFC (Yes, I know i was a noob) then was quite disappointed when i couldn't enter, so I worked my way up to level 8 to enter then I tried to enter, success but was pwned by the mobs in there xD I thought i could solo it :P then when i was level 10 I decided to get to TB (I just heard of it by then xD) but I had NO idea how to get there, so i went through Stonetalon Mountains in order to get there xD Didn't work ofc. So i continued to Windshear crag where i started corpse running but i got enough of it and walked by my corpse, hoping to find a spirit healer when i arrived. So... I walked through Stonetalon mountains, Decolace, Feralas, 1000 needles and then back into the barrens, i had given up by then so i decided to find a spirit healer but couldn't, so i gave up, was going to delete my first char :´( but first i wanted to try what happened if you went out to the sea, i tried and ended up with a spirit healer ^^ Ah... memories... oh and I had a little wrong way to level... :3 I just went around and killed everything i saw that wasn't grey, that was my way to level. Kinda slow but... what the hell, I reach 60 soon! ^^ Unfortunaly... I never did reach 60... i was somehow convinced by some silly rumor that WoW would cost twice as much when tBC comes out so... I quit... then I started again, now knowing it cost same as before on my Blood Elf Warlock which I have grown very, VERY fond of ^^. So i Level to 70 the normal questing way, was the most happy moment of my life by then ^^ then i came to know that I couldn't raid. I had crap gear. I had healing staff. the reason why is that I was a completly intellect maniac. didn't matter what I had as long as it gives intellect. So I ended up with 300 spell dmg and 600 healing xD Then i worked my way to get better gear through normals then when i finally had like 600 Spell power but crap specc, I did Karazhan for the first time. Full clear, no wipes, It was soooo smooth and I was happy with my new gear ^^ Then i got tierd of WoW since I didn't like tBC so much so I cut down on the playing, but then i came to know about the expansion, I continued playing in hope that WotLK would save the game. And when it finally came it did! ^^ I had never been so happy to play WoW :D ok time to count all my "^^" xD There are 7 ^^ now there are 8 xD
i think honestly, my first truly great memory of wow, was when me and my girlfriend at the time, now my fiancee, used to run instances with 3 other guildies or random people and people used to get ^&*!ed because our specs. I remember tanking Scholo as a MS warrior in bers stance and her healing it as a shadow priest. lol, those were the days... back before the spec made the char... Now if you have the right spec, you can do wtf ever you want
I'm back! After two months, finally I'm back.
My memory was when i hit level 60 in 2004 on my mage (I hardly play him he's level 70 on Arygos) My main is now a level 80 death knight on Lethon
