Sexy Table :D And thank you for the info, I did this for the 1st time a couple of days ago and we only wiped 4 or 5 times (it was a pug just before the reset so we were all very impressed!) but this is where I got all my info. Very useful guide. Thanks
On normal mode, taunt is no longer on diminishing returns. This means tanks and other players in the raid that can taunt can each indefinately lock down a dps. Since this change went in, the fight has become trivial. Simply get one taunter on each enemy melee dpser and there is no longer a problem.
love this encounter, real originality from blizz, and well done, though all too easy imo, ym guild have found a strategy of picking off the dps one by one, with me (and any other avaiable shaman) purging HoTs untill we are left with jsut the healers, works really well.
This might be a stupid question but since this fight is PvP based is there any point to having res gear on or since they are NPCs does that not play a factor. I am just wondering as I have a full set for my arena team that I could still do decent dps/heals in and if it helps keep me up I wouldnt mind!
I like burning the healers, then dps in order of squishy. A few classes can get away with wearing pvp gear (provided they have decent pvp gear) because Typically it raises their armor, and health (two primary threat categories), and the gloves usually have a desireable trait. Personally my hunter will happily trade 500 ap for 10k hp (pretty close to exact comparrison).my kill precedencepriest > R shaman > tree > H pali > E shami > spriest > lock > mage > rogue > hunter > Warrior > dk > ret paliresults vary...edited: for failing at life
