How will Enh shamans work without Int? I like my Int!GC says DPS classes won't need mana regen, so I'd assume all DPS classes that use it are either having their mana costs slashed massively or are all getting extreme regeneration, meaning they won't need a large mana pool.Either way, Enh Shamans are now dumb, hur hur hur.
So this new expansion is changing everything as we know it Love it
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!The amount of stats this game has gained over the years has made it, frankly, impossible to balance. Cataclysm will be a WoW we've never played before, and it's going to be awesome. Well there goes my choice to quit at the end of Lich King. UG!
crap. so if ap is gone, but they say that agillity gives 2 ap per, theres still ap. does that mean theres no AP increase stat on gear anymore, but its still a stat?and say i have this little gem here. what happens to the 188 atk pwr? does the whole item get redone statwise? will the 188 go to 94 agillity on top of the 137? sounds kinda dumb to me. i dont really like these nerfs..... let the QQ begin!I'm pretty sure they mean to say, equip effect AP is going away. In what you linked, the equip 188 AP is going away and would be replaced by 94 more agility. I bet they'll have to lower the agil -> crit % to keep this all in check, otherwise rogue/feral crit % will get even crazier =P
Problem though. Us Shadow priests have a talent that increases our sp 10% of our total Spirit.I can't think of any other way they can keep that part, unless it just ups our sp by 10% in general.
Don't know if i should post this here but Hunters and DKs get the next legendary item >.<

quick question, is this coming next patch, or with the expansion?
it is an expansion,, i think.
it is an expansion,, i think. i know that cataclysm is an expansion, but i was wondering if these changes were going to come sooner, as in 3.2.2
Justice has been made about Hunters.
Holy shnikeys, I go to sleep for a few hours after I get home from work, to rev up for the weekend, and...I love the changes. I love the simplification of stats. Given that in my head I've started calling this "WoW 2" - yes, it's an expansion, but with these changes, it really seems like they're doing a reboot of the game.I don't consider these nerfs at all. They're streamlining of what was becoming an incredibly bloated stat system that made it very difficult to re-gear or re-itemize your character for another role.
Thank $%^&ing god. Now I won't have to compete against caster DPS for my healing gear.
*sigh* oh GC. if it aint broke, dont fix it. :(
#Defense = GONE! Tanks now receive ALL their anti-crit from talents!Am I the only one who's seeing a really big redundant change here?Back in BC, they changed the defense-granting talent known as Anticipation, which granted 1 defense per rank into 1% dodge per rank. Good change, but a little stupid if they're just going to change it back to the way it was before, imo.Hunter Ammo = GONE! Replaced with an item, not a consumable!annnd didn't they say that back in 3.1 or so?./end QQ / Stupid Rant.-Edit: Added the Hunter Ammo question.
The one question I have is for the whole stat revamp, like say I have a level 30 shadowpriest, which currently has gear w/ a mix of int/spirit/spellpower, say they go revamp all the old items and change some stuff to "healer" gear with spirit and some stuff to "caster" gear with no spirit, like half of my gear will become useless? And this IS different from people going QQ all my gear now sucks, because for most classes, they will see a change in the stats on their gear, to the more new updated stuff (like ap > agi); this is more I will most likely have some gear counting as caster gear, and some as healer gear.
My pally doesn't want spirit though....I'm not too sure about the near complete revision of how stats are handled. I'm not for it, yet I am not completely against it.This attribute revamp seems to be a way to narrow player choice, allowing blizzard to reduce player ingenuity.Although I do like the changes to hunters, for the most part.
Eh, i dont know what to think about this, its good but at the same time i dont really like it :P
what the..?are these changes going in-game?i mean , i like it , i have a lock too, but its just TOO much for one time :D.we have any information on WHEN?when i first saw this i thought was a joke!
