I lol'd at the 4 rules of blizzard art design.
Especially during raids, it's kind of difficult to discern all the events that are happening.
Good report, thanks for the info!--Jed
LOL 2-ton Thrall Statue? Bit excessive eh?But seriously great post can't wait.
Brilliant blog Mal! Thanks for keeping us in touch!
The 4 rules were awesome... do you think you could post the entire document sometime? it looked great. :D
So the basics of the fansite summit were similar to last year. They herded all of us fansites together into the hotel lobby, before Bashiok (formerly Drysc) made us all sign an NDA in which we probably promised not to tell you all of the things that we're telling you now, and then dropped us on a bus headed for the Blizzard Irvine campus.Wow, shows how much you love us!Haha, love the 4 rules. That statue is epic!
is that really thrall? cause he has http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40384
is that really thrall? cause he has http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40384Ohmahgawd, he's a betrayer of humanity!
malgayne, im calling you out! *takes off glove and slaps Malgayne's face with it*I live in Irvine, and its a beautiful place, with many different styles of architecture. its just that all the spectrum buildings in that area are for work, not being pretty. but as far as those buildings go, theyre very nice. drive two blocks past the campus, and your mind'll be blown. see www.shopirvinespectrumcenter.com/ go there, shop a bit, and tell me that all the buildings dont look the same with a straight face, then i'll cede. that is all. enjoy blizzcon.
Heh awesome. Ill be working there at some point in my life.

Heh awesome. Ill be working there at some point in my life.Won't we all, won't we all... :)Hopefully not, it'd be awfully crowded.
Heh awesome. Ill be working there at some point in my life.Me too! =)
Fair enough for you Mal. ;)I am guessing anything to do with Cataclysm was either kept under the carpet or anything said isn't allowed to be said until Blizzcon. That said, it kind of reminds me of this post on my server's unofficial forums. I know the link looks a little funky, but it's just Aszune's unofficial forums. :)
Bigger is ALWAYS betterSo much for "the size of your tool doesn't matter it's how you use it..."
I hate to be a buzz kill... but that statue of "Thrall" looks like a regular wolf rider for the soul fact that he doesn't have Doomhammer -.-Sorry for going all RP on this blog lolPS. Mal is right, every building in Irvine looks exactly the same! Even the Irvine Spectrum (which is just fancy talk for "Big ass mall") kinda blends in with everything else, lol.
how could a 100 foot ferris wheel with industrial sized spot lights flashing everywhere "blend in"? wutever.
