I'm hoping for Goblins being part of the Horde personally. The alliance already have a small (hard to target/see) race in the gnomes (/spit).Plus, it just seems like a more fun race to pick ;)
I personally think that neither of them will be added, but if they will be, I hope Worgens will be on Alliance :)
i would rather greet some new hero-class instead of goblins or worgen. I heard some rumours about that the new hero-class should be demon hunter...but i think it's a bull :)
Most likely Goblin- HordeWorgen- Allies
If the Worgen go horde the I will go hordeHopefully by the time they do this the Factions shift will be availableturn my human into a Worgen...WEREWOLF!
O.o a worgen death Knight would be so freaking cool
What spoilers? And what new information?Other than saying goblins will be allies and worgen horde (which is the opposite of past conspiracy theories) this post contains nothing people didn't already think they knew.
i am a little confused you have: Goblin = Alliance and Worgen = Horde. Then in your following statement you have them switched. So just where are the races projected to go.While I like the idea of new races and actually being apart of there beginning (started after BC came out, so I rolled NE). However, I can't say I am really that excited about goblin and worgen. I am trying to catch up on each's lore, but not sure how well they will fit in. Also regardless of china's thing regarding panda's, I am not really interested in them being added as a playable race as well (must have missed lore on them somewhere but they just don't seem very exciting). Now after saying that I am sure people want to know what races I think would be "acceptable" and their respective lore fit in with things. I really like the giant races, would be cool to have one of them join up. Not sure on the specifics, but just like how they have a good chunk of the lore in LK. Also, while I don't see it happening Naga. They also have a fair amount of lore tied around them and they are just about everywhere throughout Azeroth. After thinking it over I would truely like to play one of the dragonkin (not color specific at this time). Don't really see that happening either, but one can hope. There is a ton of lore around them and all the events that happen. They are in some way connected to everything going on. So, while I hope for new playable races in the next expansion, I really hope the focus on ones that will fit and go with the Xpack itself.
I really thought that goblins would be horde (just look at the zeppelin towers, and goblin vs gnome engineering). But still, those "proud" humans that is the WoW race would never accept worgen into their "holy alliance".
I think you made a typo, Disguise.Goblin: AllianceWorgen: HordeIf you think about it, which faction do you see the Goblins associate themselves with if they're not part of the Steamwheedle Cartel? Horde. So it would seem natural that the Goblin race would go Horde-side, leaving the Worgen with the Alliance.Might want to fix that ;)-Tator
worgen will be horde most likely imo. Why? they will almost undoubtfully start in Gilneas, and whats next to gilneas? thats right, horde controlled silverpine!
They just spent an entire expansion balancing Death Knights into the game as a 10th class, I don't think they're going to throw another hero class into the game so soon after. New races seem perfectly fine to me, especially considering the presence of Undermine and the minimal and incomplete, yet very powerful lore behind the Scythe of Elune. Might as well fill those gaps instead of trying to tweak every single class over and over due to the presence of a new hero class.
To be honest I think there will be Goblin and Worgen for both Alliance and Horde, considering there has been some talk about having interfactional races, therefore I'm thinking they might be for both.
the worgen going horde would be pretty unreasonable. The worgen are members of an alliance kingdom that got cursed when they bared their gates to the survivors fleeing from the scourge. hell that one town in silverpine forest is full of alliance friendly worgen.

man this has been said ever since they showed the new masks for the Halloween event, people automatically are like "omg new masks with goblins etc must mean new races!11!1"really i hope there ISNT any more races added any time soon there is enough as is...
I kinda wish they'd add some non-bipedal races. Like the Centaur or the Naga. Then again, the lore behind the Worgen is really interesting. It would be a really interesting move on Blizzard's part if they made the Gob/Wor races interfactional. What classes would these group have, though? Also: the Worgen seem to use mostly their claws. Could that be worked into their class mechanics somehow?
New races are great and all, but I've lvled 8 toons already; I need something more than a new race to make me lvl another toon.
i'd rather wait for and official blizz announcementi HATE speculations, for experience, 90% of the speculations doesn't attend to the hype

I don't see anything that proves it's actually true, just the old mask argument.
