good! now hopefully B.net custom games can be cleansed of this horrid game... seriously.Amen
I don't think I played DotA. If it was the one where you had to defend the tree from incoming mobs, I was horrible at that :) other than that I don't think I remember any other mini games.BTW I loved WCIII, it sets up the plot for WoW. I've never played the first one and roughly played the second one. I love the story, although I don't read quests :PNote I cheated alot just see watch what was gonna happen next lol. "whosyourdaddy" and "allyourbasearebelongtous" hehehe...PS. I'm gonna comment on the other blog bout WCIII too :)
COUPON LOL made my day. League of Legends is a bad name for abbreviation.
I always fail miserably when attempting to play DoTA. D:ditto. doesn't help that no one is willing to, y'know, try and help anyone get better. Same thing can be said for WC3, Starcraft, hell - pretty much any online game, though most mmorpgs have a few people willing to teach others. Not true. You get better by going to the forums and reading the stickies and guides, just like for WoW. And then practicing. And then watching replays, just like videos for WoW. If you go into a game and buy boots first on every hero and wander around asking to be ganked, obviously you're gonna get flamed. It's the equivalent of gemming for spirit as a Rogue, then failing at DPS, you're going to get flammed. It just seems "tougher" than WoW, because in WoW you have 80 levels to learn your &*!@. In DotA, you're thrown into the fire right away and expected to perform. So basically, play some pub games, where any level of competence will allow you to be decent.
good! now hopefully B.net custom games can be cleansed of this horrid game... seriously.=P. It's the only thing that keeps the custom games going. Half the people playing other customs are just waiting for another DotA match to set up or taking a break after a few games. Some other WC3 custom games were fun, but only for a couple of plays. DotA was the only one that had any semblance of replayability, with its massive number of heroes and updates and strategies.
