You will want your melee DPS roughly stacked in two groups behind the boss, forming a triangle with the tankIt should be possible for melee to stack behind one of his leg, and then when they get a light bomb (NOT gravity bomb), they can just run to the other leg, without hitting tanks or other melee dps, and still do dps on the boss. Resulting in higher dps.Gravity bombs should then be at the side where the melee starts with stacking and the light bombs on the other sides.This way when doing hard modes, you'll have a OT standing on the side with the lights bombs to pick up the adds fast and he also will have no troubles picking up the one from melee.You will need ~30,000 combined DPS on NormalOn our first XT hard mode kill in 10man, our combined dps was 24,585.

Our strat for XT HM 10 manThe first 25% is usual, with a decent luck with RNG, you may not get a tantrum before the first heart phase. Even if you do, I strongly suggest just plain healing through it over using a pally's Divine Sacrifice + bubble combo. Save that for after you enter HM.At 75%, we DO NOT blow Bloodlust/Heroism. Instead we save it for after entering HM. Here's our reasons.1.) BL/Hero lasts for 40 secs, heart stays out for 30 secs. Although it is debateable to use the last ten seconds of Lust/Heroism after he resets back to full, our strategy varies a little bit.2.) BL/Hero is awfully useful for a tantrum For the heart Phase we use our haste pots, since our group comprises of 1 Tank, 2 Heals and 7 DPS we always manage to kill the heart in about 25-28 secs. After the heart is dead, we turn our attention to the adds, Range nukes the bombs and scraps, while the Pummelers are MDed to the Tank. We do not DPS the boss untill the adds are dealt with completely. This ensures absolutely no healing by scrapbots (which is really not a problem, but is extremely frustrating)Once this is done, we just execute the same strategy of running to a side depending on the bomb type. On the light bomb, the affected person runs to the left side (the Tank's right side) and then when it spawns, the tank just spams his taunt macro while ranged nuke it down, with splash damage from melee. This ensures that the add does not stay alive for over 4 seconds. The only exception we have to running to a certain side to drop a bomb off is when a person gets a light and gravity bomb back to back. In this case, the person stays on the side they were on when the first bomb went off, instead of trying to run through the raid and dropping a void zone in the middle of the melee or ranged camp. As mentioned before, we use certain CDs for the tantrums. On the first, we have a pally throw out divine sacrifice+bubbleSecond, we use lustThird is personal CDs+various sources of help. Our holy priest is glyphed for holy nova which is excellent for this HM, as well as many other HMs in Ulduar. Also, our enhance shammy throws out chain heals for melee healing. The last thing we use is a lightwell positoned near the light bomb drop off point. Every person that gets hit by a lightbomb after HM is activated takes a heal from the lightwell. All in all, this is a REALLY easy HM to get. Our group consists of mostly casual raiders with hectiic RL schedules, so we are all pretty much Naxx 25/Uld 10 geared. All this fight requires is a smart group and some level of gear to beat.
