I was excited that they gonna put out the Paladin Q&A but I was disappointed how they were focused mainly on Ret. It's fine, but they could've added more.I guess it was about time they nerfed the burst. Alot of people were complaining about Paladins, even I was and I play one. Ret was decent in PvP in BC as long as you had mana, imo. Repentence and our ability to run fast (wish it could stack!) is our gap closer. Most people don't use it, from what I see, too many huntards and DKtards breaking CC. You stun and blow them up. That's why Command hits more on stuns.Holy, I think it's gonna be nice with the new changes, with the new bacon. Might have learn how to use it effectively when it changes. Not sure how it fully works yet. Might be fun, instead of just healing the MT while eating bacon myself.Prot, I'm gonna enjoy the new Argent Defender, just because on too many occasions I've had my life drop and used a Divine Protection to hold me up, which is fine. I've always used Sanctuary just because I've always thought it was the tanking blessing. 3% of all damage reduced, tanking blessing? Yes, please.Just hope they add more or something...
I'm personally quite happy with Paladins ability to close. Sure, there are classes that we can't catch, but that's because those classes have tools not to be caught. Let me make myself clear, though, I'm not saying we are great at closing gaps, I'm saying that I feel we're adequate at closing gaps.We have innate speed, aura speed, an instant stun, and JoJ. We're also a real PITA to kite with Hand of Freedom + trinkets. Again, I'm not saying we're gap closing gods, but c'mon, it's not really that bad.
Honestly. 2 Bubbles that give full immunity is far too good. They should either make hand of protection last a little longer and have a shorter CD and simply remove divine shield. Or they should make divine shield absorb a specific amount of damage. An arcane mage could burst a pally down to 5 health and then they could use divine shield, heal up to full, and kill the mage and his buddy before the bubble fades. They should also make LoH unusable in pvp situations. The fact that their burst dps is so high bothers me less than the fact that they dont die.
