Still no recipe for Eternal Might....sigh....will it ever be introduced? Cmon Blizz, alchemists need their epic trinkets just like JC need their epic gems.
Its not Engineering QQ its a fact!so we re supposed to have fun with engineering? how? blowing up with thermal charges along our enemies? or the fact that the rocket boots no longer works in any arena? its not about the fact its fun, its about if it works at all for simple tasks as Staying alive?you dont have to answer, its not like other professions would understand our frustration with it.tinker pride
I myself being an alchemist, and a pvper am loving the flask for arena ;)
Sweet, I'm mining and skining so this is good news for me! First thing Blizzards done in a long time that I agree with!Besides giving us a Death Knight class, although I hate having to break away from the Scourge....
I'm not one for QQ, but I honestly think Blizzard is using this on us before they break out the Nerf gun. Not that I'm complaining (now), these updates are pretty sweet, especially the mount ones.
wow, it looks like a good change ! (:
:( still no real engineering buff.
Everyone complains about Engineering, I want to see some usefulness out of Inscription. Yeah, Engineering definately needs a buff way before Inscription, but with inscription, the only thing I've done is saved my guildies some gold, and made offhands for my warlock alt. The Master's Inscriptions are amazing, don't get me wrong, and the Darkmoon Cards are cash farms all over the place (I <3 Nobles Decks), but I want some more usefulness, something that makes Inscription worth taking, like maybe some Inscription only Glyphs, or maybe all your glyphs are improved, like the Alchemist's Mixology. I don't see why, as my DK is an inscriptionist, I can't have an ability to where instead of Glyph of Scourge Strike having a 25% chance to proc, its a 30% chance because of an Inscriptionist ability called "Higher Learning" or "Well Read", maybe? Just a thought.
Blizzard wants the BOP benefits of all profs to be statistically equivalent so that people don't roll a prof just for the extra perks. That's why you don't get more interesting perks besides a stat bump on your shoulders.
@Neirshal: I for one, have a 450 Scribe, and there is absolutely no problem with it. Making glyphs is cheap and useful for yourself and guildmates, I made decent money while leveling it, and DMC's are a cash farm. Also? You don't have to farm Hodir rep, which was the main reason why I got it to begin with.I am rather frustrated with the Alchemy change. Was having an Endless Healing Potion really that overpowered in Arenas? The cooldown didn't start until you got out of combat, it only healed for 2k (One attack, if that. Depends on your resil/armor class) and it was the only benefit we got in Arenas. A flask makes me think that rather than giving profs fun "On Use" bonuses, they'd rather give us all +37 static sp, or +64 AP, or +48 Stam. They did it to Engineering, and now they're trying to do it to Alchemy now? I know it isn't half as bad as the Engineering nerf, but ffs Blizz...I thought there was supposed to be a difference in professions.
black smithing does need changing like add blacksmithing only lvl 80 weapons like there was at lvl 70
I'd just like a few slightly nicer weapons... they don't have to be "better" really, but how about a 1h with defense? and a 1h with int that a Pally could use? (More options/variance really)Would love those, but tbh can't complain really, the 2 extra sockets are a sweet bonus overall.
It would be nice if Bliz would bring back some of the BoP items that made you want to become an Armor smith or Weapon smith or in the case of LW Dragonscale ect ect. Now adays its pointless to choose any of them. As far as the sockets for BS yeah they are defently nice to have for me a Prot pally thats another 48 stam and since I'm a JC as well the options are amazing. Epic gems are a bit early I think. Took them alot longer in BC but works out in the long run.
I hope they add something with Blacksmithing somewhere down the line, getting a little boring with the lack of recipies, and could really use something to spice it up. Like in BC with all the world drops from common mobs, and perhaps those special BoP Weaponsmith/Armorsmith items. =]
