Quote: Travel Form now that its level requirement has been reduced to level 16. Now the people who hate leveling druids will have some motivation to do it!This ^^
I've brought almost all of my alts to one of the breakthrough points - 16, 20, 40, or 60. Just waiting for the patch xD
It inspired me to roll an entirely new toon, which was anathema to me before the latest patch announcement. I've always wanted to see what a shaman felt like, but hated the thought of "hoofing it" around Azeroth again!
I have been in between a rock and a hard place with this one. I have a few toons aside from my main, but only 2 of em really don't benefit from changes next patch (Namely my lv 74 Mage and 72 Death Knight.)The problem lies with my other toons. I have a lv 36 Shaman, a lv 20 Rogue, a lv 12 Hunter, a lv 21 (Alliance) Paladin, and a recently made Warlock sitting at lv 11.The dilemma I'm facing: Bothering to level up the characters now or waiting until next patch. The rogue and Pally will immediately be able to get that first mount next patch, but I'm debating whether to put off leveling them until the next patch. The Hunter and Warlock aren't at that point yet, but I'm still taking them slowly because I don't want to push them too far ahead (That and I've found Hunters to be a boring class. Just my personal opinion.)That Shaman, of course, is nearing 40, but that also gives the dilemma of waiting for the lv 40 epic mount. It will DEFINITELY speed things up, but again, putting off leveling my characters will probably increase the overall leveling time anyway.Plus there's also the new heirloom chest pieces next patch that ALSO give bonus exp. So I'm debating halting the toon leveling process to get those. In other words, I'm torn between keeping on pushing with my alts, or just waiting until the next patch before I touch them again. >_>
I lol'd at the pic.
In before all the "they're turning this game into a CASUAL MMO" whining!
I'm currently leveling a mage to 20 and waiting to level by druid anymore until 3.2
I'm leaving most of mine till the new patch...planning on getting a brand new shammy alt that was inspired by the Q&A to 20 for the mount pre patch though.
I'm going to keep working on my warrior until the patch because that's more work I don't have to do =D
haha nice picL ftw :D/\\yes thats right lol
the "cannot be reduced below normal running speed" addition to ghostwolf is exciting for mealso, I need more gold... (damn patch couldn't've come sooner? I just bought my main's epic land mount)
When I heard about the mount changes, my shaman, which I'm currently levelling, was level 57 or so. I've refused to buy the epic riding for her just because of this. Travelling with ghost wolf goes fine though, and the money I would spend on epic riding is now spent on engineering and other stuff. She's level 67 now (linky).
Mounting up at 20 might make me play my rogue and druid more, but it's questionable wether or not it'll get me to play my warrior. Nothing against him, but he's a tauren. His second zone is THE BARRENS. And I know I could just as easily go to Silverpine or the Ghostlands, but I wanted to get him some cheap Thunder Bluff rep before shipping him out to zombie-land.
Yup, I intend to work on a few lowbie alts every now and then, now that mount level requirements went down.
I signed up for RaF about 2 weeks ago and this announcements is just wonderful news!I switched servers and factions, so my pocket is not nearly as deep as it was on my original server. With these changes I can expect to save loads of coin, so its well worth the wait for 3.2So far I've leveled a Lock & Priest and I'll be leveling at least two more sets of toons to 60 before 3.2 (I hope)
I currently have several alts20 rogue20-ish shaman41 druid45 magetoken DK I almost never play herand my 2 80'sI will be thrilled when the new patch comes out and my second 80 can fly faster. I don't have 5K gold.I will enjoy being able to mount up and level faster on my other alts.I LOVE my mage. I don't love crawling slowly around trying to level her up. I just don't. The heirloom shoulders help a lot! But there's still a lot of traveling back and forth.I want to heal with my druid. I think it could be AMAZING fun. Leveling is OK, but I keep getting whispers from my guild to come on my pally and heal for a heroic or raid. I might actually get a quest or two completed with a fast mount.
