Three cheers for the zep to tb! and another one or two cheers for the port to the port
Ok... the FP between Org and Tb is like 45 secs? Wait for zep = 1 min if it just arrived, 2 min if you just missed it. :S
I'm still QQ'ing a little on the inside for how ridiculously easy it is to get mounts, but on the other hand, is it really gonna break the game to get to your lower level quests faster? I think not.The Zeppelin between TB and Org is a godsend. I still shudder over the initial run all my alts have to do. Granted, it isn't hard, but it's _long_ and needlessly time consuming. I'm really interested in whether it will act as a flight without the flightpoints, where we get to actually watch everything pass by.My biggest beef is with the new portal. I'm hoping it will work by requiring newcomers to get to the Dark Portal the old fashioned way before "learning" the port between there and Org and Stormwind. Of course, I'm kind of a lore-$%^&*, so letting people bypass that whole storyline just grates me. Same reason I really don't like the insta-Shat access. It's kinda like having a zep from Warsong Hold to Dalaran - just takes away a little bit.
*blink*Holy $&*!(@&ing &*!@(#!
Chill down a little, guys. The changes are not ground-shattering. I think most of the complaints here can be translated to "New players will have to work a lot less than I did!" which I guess is fine, but try to see the things from a different angle. WoW has been out for, how many, 5-6 years? Out of the 12 million players, I believe a huge chunk has character in the 70-80 range. You are probably one of them. The only way this affects you is by making the leveling of your alts faster and easier process. Admit it, you don't care if you pay 5g or 100g for your alt's Riding, because, quite frankly, your main(s) has thousands and can make the amount you paid for Riding in less than one hour. For a new player, on the other hand, these changes are kind of a big deal. I am working on my Loremaster achievement(s) now, and let me tell you something - Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms have too much running between places. The Borean Tundra has 150 quests for the Horde, and I can do them all in one day, easily. I had 200 quests for my Loremaster of Kalimdor to do, and that was a week ago. I need another 40, and I've been questing almost non-stop. That makes Kalimdor...7 times bigger? Or just a place with 7 times more running? The purpose of these changes is not to make the game significantly easier. As mentioned above, it only gets rid of some time sinks. After all, I don't recall anyone complaining that they were forced to take a Mage portal to a capital city, instead of riding/flying there...
Oh my gosh! While point my priest/main Airmaid is level 80, the fact my druid doesn't have to wait forever to be able to fly is great! Because RAWRBOMB will be epic in Outland. Let alone Northrend!Point still have to save up for the cold weather flying... eh! Details!
now we just need a flight path to azuremyst. if they are worried about a portal, fashion one out of a loop of root or something off of teldrassil. done.
Woot. My druid can feel the love!
i dont really get the Org-Thunder Bluff...should of been Undercity-Thunder Bluff.and why not fix the Org-Undercity route...if its going to flyover Howling Fjord, why not make it stop there too.and no love for Silvermoon City. lol
TB -- (zeppelin) -- Orgrimmar -- (zeppelin) -- UC -- (portal) -- SilvermoonAll connected.The Exodar -- (boat) -- Darnassus -- (boat) -- Stormwind -- (tram) -- IronforgeAll connected.Did I get the Alliance part right?
The new travelform/ghost wolf change will greatly change the 10-19 bracket WSG.Gooo druid twinks!
Thumbs up! I think Blizzard is doing a great job to make lvling a bit less boring and time-consuming.
guys, guys.I have an 80 with all the riding skills(including the 280%)I see no reason to complain.I mean this simply DOESN'T affect me.It only affects new players/alt's in a GOOD way.If anyone complains he is just being an ass@#$.I mean srsly guys? Why not?Because YOU were tortured you want others to be tortured too?Is that a right way of thinking?
