The quickest and surest way to detect the undead is by the scent of rot they carry, and even the most veteran soldier cannot match the olfactory sense of a hound. Houndmaster Braun has bred and trained a savage pack of canines to aid the crusaders in hunting down their foes--living and undead.
Flameweaver Koegler trains the Scarlet Crusade's more magically minded adepts in the subtle applications of the arcane. Fire is his specialty, and he has used his skills to burn the order's historical tomes, erasing the Crusade's past failures. Apart from books, Koegler's flames have rendered many--undead, students, and trespassers alike--into piles of smoking ash.
Thalnos earned repute in the Scarlet Crusade for the brutal torture methods he used to "purify" new recruits. Ultimately, the sadistic mage contracted the plague of undeath and arose as a fearsome skeletal being. The vengeful Thalnos now prowls the monastery's graveyard, commanding apparitions and zombified creatures to attack anyone who trespasses on his unholy domain.
Brother Korloff first learned of the monk's deadly arts from pandaren ambassadors as they journeyed through Azeroth. When the crusader demonstrated this martial style to his superiors, they unanimously ordered Korloff to train an entire generation of initiates in the ways of the monk.
At a young age, Sally Whitemane witnessed her family succumb to the horrific plague of undeath as they were traveling through northern Lordaeron. She was then forced to destroy her parents and siblings when they rose as mindless Scourge minions, leaving her racked by guilt and rage. Ever since that day, the fearsome priestess has found fulfillment and pleasure in only one thing: the destruction of undead.
same sh*t as sfk -_-" damn revampers.
I always loved the scarlet dungeons... it's sad to see some of the old bosses go... but it looks very well done. Looking forward to this in mist.

Im loving the new updates to SM, I can't wait to see what it's like heroic. And also curious if the headless horseman is gonna be the same now that things changed and got combined.
There better be an improved Ravager in "Scarlet Halls", and I would also like to see the Scarlet set remaining in game, to be honest - perhaps an updated version. We don't get many sets besides tier sets these days.
Аля-ремейк, как и в катаклизме Крепости Темного Клыка и Мертые Копи.
Meh, no thanks. Just give me good old traditional SM. It's a little annoying that instead of just creating a new dungeon or two, they choose to just revamp old ones. SMH. Some people may like that though. I'm not one of 'em.
I wonder what'll happen to Ashbringer event run. Alexandros's son isn't around any longer, but the weapon itself should still be something that the members fo the scarlet crusade react to. Perhaps that's why High Inquisitor Fairbanks is still around, since he was on the side of the wielder of the Ashbringer.
I'm hoping for something like this for black rock depths.
looks pretty cool should be fun to run
looks Greaaat !
crud. i used to have the Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade but ended up deleting it by mistake..
Looks like the story was changed a lot more then I originally thought. Otherwise there seems to be a few throwbacks to the original instance, although there are a lot more new bosses then the original preview suggested. Will be very interesting once the quests and dialogue are added in.
Keep up the good guides, I've been watching them on my YouTube channel, and on wowhead. Thanks for giving us all a big heads up of what's to come. Thanks again!
Thanks for the guide.I REALLY LOVE the new SM.The design is brilliant. Heroic isn't gonna be so easy and normal will teach a little more to new player and is overall more fun imo. They did a great job. I don't really mind they've put stuff together or cut some boring part of the dungeons.
I had to mute the video midway. I'm sorry but if you're narrating a video "um" and "uh" simply should come out of your mouth. Neither should forgetting the name of characters as you're describing the encounter. It just seems like shoddy editing. If you have the video beforehand (which it seems was the case) you should have time to prepare and practice a script. Thanks for the preview but the narration was horrid.
